Hockey-78
Horrible goaltending by Bachman and Dubnyk gave up two soft goals, too. Luckily this time we could afford it. Always nice to win although the Wild wasn't that much better what the scoresheet would indicate. Charlie and Nino read and executed my wish from page 1, that's nice too. I am also impressed about the Connor Dewar stats - in 17 games he has 16 goals,28 points,+/- +2. Thanks, as Dickie Dunn says...I tried to capture the spirit of the thing. It wasn't the Wild's best game; Boudreau said as much but Minnesota took full advantage of a goaltender having really rough night. Conner Dewar is having a fantastic start to the season. His +/- is a bit troubling to me for a guy who scores so much on a team that is normally noted for being a decent team defensively you'd expect it to be better. But 16 goals in 17 games...he's certainly on pace to blow away his career high in goals this season which is 38 if memory serves me correctly.
