A bit of this and that.....

Eichel is listed as out with an UBI with the Sabres but the internet is blowing up, saying he is being held out as a potential trade is in the works. Buffalo is an unmitigated disaster and the team is simply going through the motions, with him being out speculation on where he plays his next game is everywhere. Friedman is reporting the injury is possibly long term from a cross check to the back from Cizikas against the Isles on Sunday. Anyway, rumors of everything from out for the year to a trade is imminent abound.

Dylan Larkin is back in for the Wings after missing the last couple of games. Figures, I just traded him away in my fantasy league, lol

Kirby Dach considered one of the games best forward prospects is practicing with the Hawks and travelling with them on their current six game road trip. Not quite ready,he broke his wrist in the world juniors tourney. The Hawks would love to have him join their crew of young promising players by the playoffs.

Winnipeg and Toronto tonight. This is must see tv, the two top teams in the North. Toronto absolutely humiliated Edmontonlast week, if they do the same to Winnipeg essentially all they have to play for over the roughly half a season remaining will be to get healthy andset line combos and defensive pairings for the playoffs. Toronto is the King of the North,it is hard to tell if they are the best team in Hockey or not with only playing within your own division but they are learning new ways to beat you. Damn fun to watch.
