    Fun to watch and glad the flyers took a chance on him. I doubt he wins the calder, but who gives a ****. As long as he is an asset to this team going forward, that is what counts.

    He is better then previous flyers goalies. He was dreadful in the POs last year and is prone to some weak ass goals. Morris is definitely a douche. I love how his two ****ups directly lead to the GWG last night. **** him.

    They are running out of places that can sustain an NHL team. Contraction would be best. Speaking of sustaining teams, I was flipping back and forth btw some games the other night. There were about 43 people at the Colorado game and about 200 at the Toronto game. I know TO is fine, but the attendance at NHL games seems to be hurting. Every Dallas home game I catch seems to be empty too.

    That sucks. They have one decent prospect on defense in the whole system, and he gets ****ed up.

    Would be nice to see some goals from Voracek, but he is good on the back check and has made a couple nice passes. He also has had a lot of "me against the world" rushes that result in turnovers. Those should go away as he matures though.

    They have two excellent defensemen that are old and one of them gets injured often. They have 3 inconsistent ones that are prone to big mistakes, but can be good on occasion. I have said before that the forwards aren't the most helpful, but there are tons of bonehead plays by those guys that end up in the net. And those plays have nothing to do with the forwards.

    Penalties and faceoffs will keep this team from being elite. And mediocre defensemen.

    They definitely try harder then last years version. But they are still thin at scoring if the top line is held in check. And the defense has bone-headed lapse all too often. Let's see if they can beat some teams like the PEns or the Caps before we hand them the cup.

    It is this and they are mistake-prone. There are a lot of errors committed by the blueliners that have nothing to do with lazy forwards and gap coverage.

    I don't blame him for the defense so much. They really just aren't as good as people want to believe.

    I said this in the shoutbox yesterday. He is really struggling to get any line going other then the one that has two all-stars on it. He needs to step up.

    Same as they were before the game. They are a decent team that will probably get into the playoffs around the 5 or 6 spot. Their defense is mediocre, especially without Pronger. And I still don't think Bryz is the answer, but we are stuck with him. I also don't think Laviolette is the coach come next season.

    The jackets are a really awful team. Rec league defense by them last night. Oh and Carle is an atrocious player as well. Probably the worst player on the team. Hope they don't resign him and let him walk.

    You compare them to other teams on paper and they look good. You compare the results, and they are pretty mediocre. Especially without pronger. Carle is vastly overpaid and I hope the flyers are smart enough to let him walk next summer when he commands some ridiculous money. But this team's blueline is pretty middle of the pack on the ice, which is where counts.

    This game is practically a lock for a loss for the flyers. They pretty much always lose these games.
