Flyers had a good first few minutes in the 1st but then the Habs took over.  They need to play a whole lot better than that for the rest of the game.

It would be a miracle to be able to pry Rod out of Carolina.  He will be the President of that organization when he gets done coaching.

Flyers pick up 6 out of 14 available points in the toughest stretch of their season.  It would’ve been nice to see them pick up a couple more.  

What is the latest on Drysdale & Seeler?  Last week I heard they were both skating.

Flyers controlled the 3rd period and scratched out a point.  Looked like Farabee had a chance for the game winner.  He had the goalie moving but missed the net.  Canes come right down and score.

TK got noticed on that one... tying goal and his first in awhile... good work that whole line.

 

I don’t think Frost was trying to pass there.  He scored last game with the between the legs shot.  Either way, it worked out.

I look at it this way…they traded away a lower draft pick to get a higher pick in this year’s draft.  You have to read between the lines.  Johnson is just a body back there and not providing any help as they’re falling out of the playoffs, thereby improving their first pick this year!

My stream froze and I missed the Bruins 6th goal.  It came back right before Farabee scored.  I thought they tied it.  Then I looked at the score…

3 goals in less than 4 mins to start the 3rd.  That sound is the wheels falling off…

This is another game where the talent disparity is noticeable.  I think we’ll be seeing a lot of that in the next couple weeks.  I hope their effort can overcome the difference.

Flyers had a really good start.  They were out skating the Bruins then the Bruins caught up to them.  They need to find away to slow down the Bruins here in the 2nd.

Much different period than the 1st.  Leafs had a lot more time in the offensive zone but the Flyers held their own.

Ersson pulled.  Sandstorm in net to start the 2nd.

Can’t stand the ESPN announcers.  I switched my stream to the TSN crew.

Yeah, that pissed me off, too.  I dumped Directv and the Center ice a few months ago.  I was paying way too much for Directv already and wasn’t about to pay for ESPN+ and Center Ice.  I stream every game now.  Now  I just have to deal with buffering.

What does Toronto’s lineup look like?  If ND is scratched, who is going to stand up to Reaves if he starts running around?

Look at all the pretty colors! 

Just guessing everything to the right of the zero line is good?  That makes it look like the game was a blowout when it really wasn’t.  Just like the +/- stats, this graph may be statistically inaccurate.

Some nervous moments there in the last couple minutes but they eeked it out.
