    Offer em' Hartnell and Voracek. I have a feeling the first line without Jagr is going to be a lot different. No trade agreements can be dealt with.

    The problem I see with acquisition of Suter or Webber neither one has won a cup or come close. LA did it without them,so its apparently doable with a bunch of old Flyers. Why not a couple more Grossmanns? The Flyer's problem isn't scoring goals,its being scored against.

    It seems Scott Howson is asking price is the other teams first two lines and maybe a kidney later.

    Bobbo had his chance,Homer and Ed say Bryzo will be fine this season,but they said that last season. When do teams decide they have a goalie problem? During the handshake?

    Who was the last goalie picked in the early rounds that really developed? I realize most goalies are selected from the draft,but it seems the most sucessful are developed. If you the consider the Pen's Fleury a top goalie I guess he would count. I'm hoping a pick will be available Homer and the boys thought would go much earlier(Cooter) and suprise us all. The Flyers youth movement is a good thing,Homer should stick with it.

    Based on history repeating itself the Flyers need to pick up a goalie that can threaten Bryzo for his job. Not a career back-up like Biron,but like the Pens just did,a potential starter. I've read quotes from Homer and Snider about "B" being their starter in my opinion is a total fantasy.

    That just happened last week! Homer's biggest problem is Bryzo! Thats the hole he has to plug first! Get all the forwards and "D" men you want, with Bryzo in net all the rest is mute. After last season's side show I'm suprised nobody is complaining. The Pens are smart, Fleury will have a good reason to play well.

    I have nothing against developing any of thePhantoms/Flyers,but none of these guys will ever be 6'3/223lbs..In my opinion Bobbo is expendable and with Bryzo in net,the cup is not coming here.The Flyers are a small,soft team and adding young,bigger players is what will make the Flyers go. Daryl Sutter showed what it takes to win a cup,not a funky system,but a good goalie,old time hockey and hard work,something thats been missing here for a long time!

    I don't know how badly Grossmann is injured,but it seems for the money he a good choice.A couple more like him would be great. There are a few NHL ready "D" men available in the first and second rounds of the draft,not super stars,but big, brawny,solid guys. Homer could get lucky.

    I've been reading $ 4.75 mil per. Apparently Suter feels Like Hamhuis when it comes to the Flyers.This way homer won't waste draft picks.

    After acquiring Cooter last year I hope Homer will keep it going with"Building through the draft".Apparently there are a lot great "D" prospects in the first and second rounds, based on the summaries that have been showing up lately. Henrik Samuelson (winger) is getting a lot of attention, anybody here tell us any of these picks? Slater Koekkoek is mentioned a lot. Do any of you guys get to see these young players in games?

    As long as Bryzo is in net I'm afraid the trend will continue. The Flyers can't seem to find another Keith Allen!

    A shorter summer would be Homer acquiring a couple more high picks in this years to keep the youth movement going. Out with the old,yeah! Anybody a little suprised at Jagr's non-commitment? These eastern European players kinda suck!(excepting Malkin &Datsyuk) No wonder Dale Hunter called it a day.

    Hartnell would be a good trading chip, Homer could cook a deal with Columbus,for a nice 1st pick. Boy,that would be great!

    After another game of Picks,Hooks,all types of interference from the whole team including Brodeur,none called by the officials,I have to assume its a return to Uhockey. If the Rangers get slightly physical (Prust on Volchenokov),outstanding embellishment "V". They get nailed for very insiginifigant contact. I "gotta think the Fix is in",Canadian style. Tim Donaghy would be proud"Keep shavin guys". Where is Kerry Fraser when you need him? Did anybody notice Elias when he was slashed in the legs?

    Jeff Carter forechecking,hangin' around the goal crease,its amazing! I know his mom would be proud! Regarding the playoffs,I could watch em' all summer.If La keeps going it will finally decide if the WEST is really tougher.

    Google is a great suggestion. What about the sleepers in the NCAA and the juniors,the less celebrated guys?

    I was thinking more of skating,shooting,joining the rush,take a little risk,and just maybe(and I know this is a lot to ask)crash the net. Every now and then he show what he is capable of and then goes back into a shell, instead of a little "Scorched Earth" hockey. He probably thinks it is "A beautiful day in the neighborhood". Where is every body getting their info about the draft prospects?
