I'd rather have sestito in the line up instead of Rinaldo. Sestito played more minutes when the lineup. Harder to get off the puck and way more physical on the d on dumps.

Giroux is playing through a groin pull. There is a list of players that should not even be playing. Giroux, jagr, hartnel,grossmann,timm, and prolly a few more. Kubina needs surgery. They did well this year. I'm proud of them no matter what. Looking forward to this teams youth for years to come

Breezys injury is the weight barring ligament. It pulled a piece of the bone off . Without rest it is very painful and slow healing. Since its his weight barring bone it's going to hamper him. You wanna get an idea of pain? Put a tack in your heal and push off with that foot off of something like a goal post or even a hard surface. It's a shame this is happening but apparently they have started rounds of cortisone shots to lessen the pain. After last nights game it may be working a bit. Seemed a little better at moving around from post to post.

If somehow we can beat Pitt our next opponent would most likely be Washington then winner of Ottawa and Florida. Thats very favorable. This is based on the other series leads at this point.

See that's a tricky situation. When I was captain of my team I was out 4 months with torn rotator cuff and severe concussion( 5th overall) and I stayed away from the team until I started skating with the team after I was already skating alone with coaches. It weird because you don't want to be around the guys because your looked up to so much and your presence around gives the idea in the heads of your teammates you might be getting close to returning and also it was just too hard to be around the guys at the rink wishing I could be out there with them because I knew three months in I still couldn't walk up two flights of stairs without getting dizzy and headaches. It's a tricky slope.

Unlike shelly he can actually play though. He played 3rd line minutes on this team already and played really well. Besides with sestito you know when the puck gets dumped in he isn't looking for the puck, just the guy touching it.

I agree winning the game is more important then settling scores but I've played for 20 years and was captain of 7 of 8 teams I played for and the message I send before the game would be simple. Play our game and win and put this team away. We don't want a game 5. Also adding we are a team and we will stand up for each other now past and future and walk out leading my team out. Being a player the last statement means more then what was actually said if you catch what I was trying to say.

Let's be clear here. They will suspend Neil for the rest of the series no matter how many games are played. The reasoning is this...he is a marked man. If he plays the league knows if the score is a blow out Philly will go after him or Crosby. Crosby because the law on the ice is you go after our star player with intent to injure,which it was twice, we will return the favor. All three players will be suspended in question. NHL says sorry to Pittsburg on the letang diving call. It was a horrible call and pens should have been up 5-3 on pp and Philly would have never had a shorty. The league said it will give the pens a two goal lead in gm3 to make up for the last two games.

Rinaldo would sit. Not having a good series so far. But I wouldn't expect him back this series if Philly has a strangle hold on this series. Mezzy maybe if there is a gm 7 he would go. I would look for him to start round two if they make it. I think the most interesting question though is what happens when sestito is ready. Rangers and bruins I gotta think he plays.
