Nope. Florida has been pretty dominant, through the first four games. They've just had trouble beating Shesterkin. Hopefully, the Panthers can win game 5 at MSG, and as a bonus not have to go to OT to do it. Go Panthers.

No doubt. They really dominated tonight. Igor damn near stole another one

  2. Sportsnet states they confirm “Boeser is out for the season” and “he is the longest tenured player on the Canucks”

    Did not know that.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The University of North Dakota can once again boast the title of best fans in college hockey, as the program once again paced the country in multiple attendance categories.

For the 10th straight year, UND and Ralph Engelstad Arena led the nation in average attendance with a total of 11,612 per game while also sitting atop the total attendance number for the 13th straight year with 278,677 total fans.

UND was one of only six programs to average at over 100 percent capacity, finishing with 20 sellout crowds in 24 home contests. The 278,677 total attendance number is the fifth highest in NCAA history and the highest in Ralph Engelstad Arena history since the building opened in 2001-02.

It was also a dominant season on home ice for NoDak, finishing with a 19-4-1 mark and included zero regulation losses in the 2024 calendar year.

Not only was the 11,612 average attendance number the highest in college hockey, it also ranks 38th in the entire world for hockey – sitting behind 31 NHL franchises and six professional European clubs.

  5. OSTRAVA, Czechia -- Jesper Wallstedt is pining for more time in the paint.

The 21-year-old, coming off a second straight strong season with the Iowa Wild in the American Hockey League, has his sights set on jumping to brighter lights.

    Soon.

"I'm trying to push to make the team next year," said Wallstedt from Czechia, where he's currently serving with Sweden at the 2024 IIHF World Championship. "That's my goal. We'll see how that goes. I feel like I've been putting in the work and giving myself a good opportunity to succeed.

"I feel like I had a very strong year in Iowa. We were struggling a little bit as a team. We maybe didn't have our best year. But I feel like I gave our team a good chance every night to succeed. And a couple strong starts in Minnesota at the end of the year... I still feel I was in more control and I was pushing my pace and being set and in control more.

    "Game-wise I feel like I'm in a strong position."

Or so fans of the losing team says....

Play the game, win the game score....i've alway felt that blaming the refs for a loss is a chicken way out. Win calls, lose calls, that's how it goes.

If anything i blame the bruins for averging less than 5 shots per period.

Totally agree. In the end it usually evens out. Teams that can withstand adversity the best always come out on top
