  1. Most of the HOF players were not a super skilled HOF players at their old age when they were finishing their career. That is normal, but this is not diminishing their previous achievements for the NHL history to be in the HOF. I wish that Fleury will retire as the Wild player to make a history for the Wild club. Here is a list of records for the NHL goalies. He is close with his stats to be a 2nd goalie in NHL history. It is enormously difficult task: https://records.nhl.com/records/goaltender-records/seasons-and-games/most-games-played-career
  2. Hope we will be able to compete well and will get at least 1 point out of this game. The opponent team is tough 1st team in Atlantic Division. Still predicting our win with a score 5:4 in OT (or SO).
  3. I can't withstand such a persistent Pens/Canes fan. Pens are in the same position as we are now. Look how much cost your goalies first. In NHL cost of 4 wins still is not a bad number. Hockey is a team play. Fleury stopped playing for your team many seasons ago. Just forget about him. Scratch completely from your brain his name and train your Pens fans to do the same. It seems you have some kind of a long-time addiction against him. You mentioned about him even when we (Wild fans) became a part of this forum in 2018 and he was not our goalie then. Look for your message regarding Fleury at our thread "Today in Wild History" on July 28,2018.
  4. Yes. Our coach (the smartest coach for our team so far) did the right thing. He didn't want to make happy most Penguins fans including you in case of our loss when Fleury was in the net. He made you disappointed despite of your win.
  5. Sorry, I was not around, but at Christmas party at my friend's house. I was not able to listen game on radio as well as sixty six didn't work on his computer. All I listened on a radio interviews with Gustavsson and Haynes during my driving home. I liked that Haynes promised on taking more care to avoid penalties for the team as much as possible because they cost us losing games like it happened last game.
  6. Finally, we have a lonely picture since the beginning of the season. Probably, more to come if the team will play more than .500.
  7. An interesting fact happened on Thursday, December 14,2023. Tampa Bay Lightning was able to stop Oilers 8 winning games streak on that day with a score 7:4. Stamkos was able to score 4 goals in that game for the 1st time in his career. And he is the last player at this moment/so far who did this (placed 4 goals in one game) in NHL history. I started to look for the NHL records who placed the most goals in one game. Joe Malone is the only player in NHL history to score seven goals in one game, doing so for the Quebec Bulldogs on Jan. 31, 1920. No one was able to reach that record since 1920. Only 7 players in NHL history were able to net 6 goals in one game. The last player who abled to do this (6 goals in one game) was Darryl Sittler for Toronto Maple Leafs vs Boston Bruins team on 02/07/1976. In that game he also had 4 assists. An interesting fact also that Darryl Sittler is the only player who had 10 points in one game. On a category of 5 goals in one game we have 52 players in NHL history. And one of them is Marian Gaborik who placed 5 goals and had 1 assist during the Wild game vs NY Rangers on 12/20/2007. Here is a link for NHL records, who has an interest to see: https://records.nhl.com/records/skater-records/goals/most-goals-one-game
  8. He is patiently waiting how we are going to play next games against Pens and Bruins.
  9. That is true. Only in our Division except Hawks we had 1-3 wins in a last 3 games. It is going to be a very hard race for us. Interesting, most teams from all 4 Divisions are competing hard for the playoffs spot this season. But, I think the most toughest one Division is Metropolitan. It seems Pens are in the same position as we are on standings.
  10. Yes. I agree. We must to raise 3 things for the team: scoring; speed; toughness.
  11. Not sure about this proposal. I just do not want to make happy Notfondajane if we will lose this game when Fleury would be in the net against Pens then.
  12. We have got 4 not an easy, but very valuable points in SO for both games on our home ice.
  13. I was thinking about him right away. He has an unusual anti-record for this season.
  14. Kaprizov-Hartman-Zuccarello had the best chemistry in Kaprizov's career here. I am still thinking that Kaprizov has a home sick period because was not abled to visit home more than a year. We need to bring more Russian speaking players to the team to diminish his home sickness. He is a very valuable player for the team. His best production (47 goals; 61 assists;108 points) for the Wild was in 2021-22 year when we had his friend Kulikov in our team. Canucks , for example, has 3 Russian players Kuzmenko; Mikheev; Zadorov. Mainly because of that issue. And some other teams have 2-4 players too. Still Kaprizov has almost a point per game this season. In 27 played games he has 24 points (8 goals;16 assists). Of course, we would like to see more shots and more goals from him. But something is not clicking yet.
  15. GAUDREAU!!! Wish to see more goals produced by that line Foligno- Gaudreau- Maroon.
  16. What are you using? Sixty-six is not friendly today. I am listening on a radio channel 107.9 FM instead of 100.3 FM which is today for the Viking's game.
