  1. I just looked at Marco Rossi stats and compared with the last season stats. They show are a very nice progress. Last season in 19 played games he had 1 assist; +/- -7. This season so far in 77 played games ( hope he will play all 82 games) he has 38 points (21 goals; 17 assists; +/- +1). Definitely his personal training with coaches and other specialists entire last summer made a very positive impact. Maybe Gaudreau and Johansson will do same thing this summer too? If we are not able to trade them then club should have an individual training for them as well.

Otherwise, we need more talents, more stars. Conclusion is very simple. Without them we will not have a Stanley Cup in a nearest future.

As usual I still wish for the win from our team. As well as still I have a wish to see Firstov and Ohgren for their tryouts with a main club.

Good news from Iowa regarding Firstov. In 6 played games this season he has 3 points already(0.5 point per game so far). He was able to place 2 goals (his 1st goal was shorthanded) and he also had 1 assist.  Ohgren in his 2 played games there doesn't have any points yet.

All I want out of this game is for Faber and Rossi to score and Bedard to not.

Rossi did and Faber and Bedard didn't. 41 goals and 89 points for Kaprizov now. Now I have another wish for him to net 9 more goals and 11 more points to reach him 50 goals mark (he never did this) and 100 points for this season. I think he can do it. And no the rest for the team till the rest of the season. They are not merit that. Better would be for them to build a stronger chemistry in remaining games. Wallstedt stayed like a wall for his 1st NHL shutout. I like it.

I was listening this game on a RadioFM during my long driving home.

LIG, thank you for presenting stats for both teams here. I am impressed that Jets are the 1st NHL team in goals against per game. As well as I am impressed of GAA stats for their both goalies.

Regarding our stats we knew that the team needed to place at least 4 goals per game because of our goalies GAA. Sadly we were not able to do this.

I knew that Hartman missed today game, but hopefully in remaining 6 games he will net his 1 goal to reach 20 goals mark this season. Like I said before, personally for me, he is our the most emotional player for this team. And I understand him well  because that comes from his heart.

  5. Actually still I want to see in remaining 7 games that Kaprizov will reach 40 goals mark, Boldy will get 30 goals mark; Hartman(our the most emotional player) will get 20 goals mark; Khusnutdinov will get his 1st NHL goal. And of course, I want to see Firstov and Ohgren in the Wild uniform for their 1st tryout here. Without those goals our 2023-24 season will be completely disappointed.

  6. Jets or not to Jets? Would be this win. Fans hope practically dropped to zero because for both teams that win will mean nothing. Jets already got a playoffs spot. And we are 11 points behind the wild card. All recent crucial games we lost. I am more impressed about Penguins progress who won recent crucial games and still fighting for a wild card even without their star Guentzel. I will be more impressed if they will got this card and will reach 11 years mark of playoffs participation. We missed that opportunity and stopped at 10 years mark this season.

Yep, 2.1M per but tradable at that price. * ( So 3 and a 1/2 more seasons before UFA)
Mojo is an UFA after next season so I expect a trade before that to get something.

I hope so. GM will trade them both. I can't see them anymore. Puck control is not enough for the NHL, they must to produce. If not then it is a time to go to other team to try their play somewhere else. Just my 2c. for a huge business in sports.

We have Firstov and Ohgren came from Sweden now. They both should be here and merit for a tryout before the season ends because both put a lot efforts to get into a professional hockey.

After the game tonight our race for a wild card is done, better to start building a chemistry with available promising prospects. That is our single option now.

To be fair, Comparing their stats from the previous season isn't comparable imo.
Take all the injuries this season, The Wild brought up guys and focused on where to put them and just 'plug and played' Freddie and Mojo constantly mixing them with players mostly on L3 and L4.
I just think guys like them need consistent linemates for consistency.
Both of them the previous season had time on L1 and L2 so that easily helped their stats.
Sure they could've done a lot better this year but I give them a slight pass for what I mentioned.
Probably tried to trade them but with no takers. Next season will be intersting onwhat happens to them.

I think Gaudreau has a contract with us for 5 years for $10,000,000. Last season we had an injuries too on Kaprizov; EEK.... But Gaudreau was capable to produce in any line to help the team.  And his +/- -19 this season is horrible result.

Khusnutdinov definitely needs players that fit him better. Gaudreau can't keep up.

But I don't know if they can afford to bring anyone else in?

I don't know how much cap space they have left.

I hope enough space for Firstov. I do not want to see Gaudreau anymore. After signing a " handshaking "contract he stopped playing. Same story as it was with Parise and Suter.

    Crap

Crap x4 this game. I think game is over and the playoffs season is 500% is over too for the wild club.

Gustavsson was a biggest disappointment this season. As well as was Gaudreau. He has only 4 goals; 10 assists; +/- -19 in 61 games. In SO he was not good this season too. For $2,100,000 per season. How much cost his goals per season? Last season he had 19 goals; 19 assists; +/- +10 in 82 games. The other disappointment is Johansson. He has 10 goals;18 assists; +/- -11 in 70 played games for  $2,000,000 contract per season. Last season he had almost a point per game(18 points) in 20 played games for the Wild team (6 goals; 12 assists;+/- +6). For those 2 players are the worst stats this season.
