  1. The inductions of Daniel Alfredsson, Roberto Luongo, Daniel Sedin, and Henrik Sedin in 2022 really clears up the HHOF's backlog of more recent players who are highly qualified for induction, which means we could finally see more of the older, longer waiting players finally inducted in the next two years - Keith Tkachuk, Pat Verbeek, Pierre Turgeon, Jeremy Roenick, Peter Bondra, Alexander Mogilny, Theo Fleury, Mike Vernon, Tom Barrasso.

NOTE: Bob Pulford is the only person in the Hockey Hall of Fame who was a head coach for both, the Chicago Black Hawks and the Chicago Blackhawks. NOTE: Prior to the 1986–87 NHL season, while going through the team's records, someone discovered the team's original NHL contract and found that the name "Blackhawks" was printed as a compound word as opposed to two separate words, "Black Hawks", which was the way most sources had been printing it for 60 years and as the team had always officially listed it. The name officially became "Chicago Blackhawks" from that point on. This was a legal issue. This was a legal issue.TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS HOCKEY HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES01. 1947: William Hewitt02. 1947: Frank Nighbor03. 1958: King Clancy04. 1958: Dick Irvin05. 1958: Conn Smythe06. 1960: Frank Selke07. 1961: Syl Apps08. 1961: Charlie Conacher09. 1961: Hap Day10. 1961: George Hainsworth11. 1962: Sweeney Schriner12. 1963: Joe Primeau13. 1965: Foster Hewitt14. 1965: Red Horner15. 1965: Syd Howe16. 1966: Max Bentley17. 1966: Ted Kennedy18. 1966: Babe Pratt19. 1967: Turk Broda20. 1969: Red Kelly21. 1970: Babe Dye22. 1971: Busher Jackson23. 1971: Terry Sawchuk24. 1974: Dickie Moore25. 1974: Carl Voss26. 1975: George Armstrong27. 1975: Ace Bailey28. 1975: Gordie Drillon29. 1975: Pierre Pilote30. 1976: Johnny Bower31. 1977: Harold Ballard32. 1977: Tim Horton33. 1978: Andy Bathgate34. 1978: J.P.
