No not picking the Leafs to lose at all. I said John Tavares would net the game winner in game 7. The Leafs will win. The Blues will go down to Colorado, but the Flames will advance against Edmonton and take down Colorado to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals against Toronto and lose to the Leafs.

The first goal is crazy important tonight. You asked whicjh goalie is more likely to give up 4 goals tonight and I am not going to lie it would have to be Campbell, but if the Leafs jump out to the lead that can change things up a bit. The Leafs need to throw as many shots as they can on the net at Vasilevskiy. Get one or two past him and shake him a little.

This is one of the reasons ya gotta love the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Game 7's in playoff format brings out so much excitement and the teams best. Home ice in game 7 has to be an advantage. The crowds giving the teams that extra boost of adrenaline with their enthusiam and excitement has to give the home team an edge. Bruins @ Hurricanes- Probably the toughest to predict, but I am going with the Hurricanes here mostly because I despise the Bruins. I see Aho netting the game winner. Lightning @ Maple Leafs- This game is all about pressure. The Lightning have the pressure on them to stay alive and keep going for a 3 peat while the Maple Leafs want to finally advance after 18 years. As a Leafs fan I am hoping that the Lefas can do it. I see the Captain John Tavares netting the game winner in this one. Kings @ Oilers- I believe the Connor McDavid is now on a mission to win this series and he will get it done. Wouldn't be surprised if he pulls off a hat trick. Connor McDavid gets the game winner. Penguins @ Rangers- Sad to say that the Penguins may be without their best player for game 7 which will be a shame. That however is not my concern with the Penguins in this game. My concern is with Louie Dominigue and his confidence. After playing spectacular throughout the series he lets in a horrible goal for the game 6 game winner and that has to shake him a bit. He also doesn't have much experience with this sort of situation at all. Shesterkin also doesn't have the experience, but he also is a journeyman type of goalie. I see The Bread Man netting the game winner for the Rangers in this one. Stars @ Flames- This one is also going to be tough, but I also think home ice is going to help the Flames out here. I see Johnny Gaudreau netting the game winner and the Flames advance.

That is the thing, the Penguins had chances but did not capitalize. Maybe that had something to do with the Rangers defense and Shesterkin, but they did have multiple chances. The way the Rangers broke the tie was on a weak goal which was terrible because the game was great. I always wish for teams to be at full strength, especially for these sorts of games but injuries are part of the game. The Crosby although I don't know if Trouba intentionally tried to injure him is not good at all and I do hope he is okay enough to play.

Travis Green fired. Bruce Boudreau to be named HC
Toronto Jules replied to J0e Th0rnton's topic in Vancouver Canucks
I think Boudreau is going to be great for this team. The team is on the brink of doing good things in the playoffs. They are not that far off and with a coach such as Boudreau I think it can happen. -
With ya on the video thing, but would that really stop griping from the fans I don't think so. They use it on some calls which still have to be determined by officials and fans still b**** about those calls all the time. Also if they use video on every call the games would become so long it would become ridiculous. I understand that calls have to be called correctly and looking at the calls at every angle is the best possible way of doing that, but that still is not going to appease everyone. I don't see how the Leafs can't be up for this game 7. If they come in dead for this game then something is wrong. Either they are not prepared or all credit goes out to the Lightning for taking it to them. They have everything to lose. Way more than the Lightning really.

I think officiating is what it is. You win some lousy calls and you lose some lousy calls. I think that is part of the game. All I know is what has to be done is game 7 and that is for the Leafs to put it all on the line and got 110% for 60 minutes. Campbell has to play his @$$ off, the defense has to be quick to the puck and block shots, and the offense has to make crisp on point passes, get in front of the net and create tips/redirects, and get as many shots on the net as possibly. If this can be done the Leafs should win game 7 and then the whole talk about officiating and Kerfoot will be meaningless.

I wasn't born when the Bill Buckner error occurred. The thing is and I will say the same thing about the Kerfoot mistake is there is opportunity for the team to step up and erase all of that. That didn't occur in the Buckner situation, but all the Leafs players know of the mistake Kerfoot made in the last game and that should be more incentive for everyone of them to step up and pick him up for a win in game 7. That is what teammates and a team does.
