  1. I am convinced now ....Bryzgalov was a bad move. Maybe the pressure of being the number one in Philadelphia, the comfort in getting the big pay day, or perhaps just chemistry, but this guy just isn't playing good hockey.

I understood why they signed him but I don't think it is going to pan out. Maybe they should stop the bleeding, put in Bobo regularly and let Bryzgalov collect dust. Maybe at the deadline some team will want him, believing that he is still a good goalie, just in a bad situation. In the Ranger game, I felt the first two deflected goals were just fluky; not much he could do there. But that third goal from Gaborik changed the game. If he stops that play, I suspect an energy change from the team. By not stopping it, it just crushed any chance of coming back. On the last goal, he looked like he just gave up. Nothing like leaving a nice, fat anf juicy rebound in front of your net

  2. i think the idea of Kaberle is crazy as bat sh!t. Montreal just traded for him and now they might turn around and trade him to the Flyers? That's just absurd. On top pf that, at some point you have to stop with the contract talk and focus on the on ice perfromance. Why would the Flyers trade away Hartnell? He's playing great and is a key part of a team in first place. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.

If you want to make a trade, male one that will make the team even better than they are now. Move Bobrovsky and another younger player to secure a needed piece

  3. Sorry, but I think Kane's goal was a bunch of crap. He all but stopped and stick handled for 20 minutes before he shot. Then acted like he was the heat. He skated faster during his celebration than during the shootout. Was somewhat of a fan of the Hawks, now can't stand'em.

I agree. If all the players in the league do this, the goalie is completely helpless, and the goals will be all but guaranteed. It was a joke

  4. My problem believing anything is this: Pronger had a virus? OK, tell us if he has runny nose and can't breath through it. A sore throat and can't yell at Bob in Russian. But, nooooo.... he has a "virus" that the main symtom is a headache? Hmmm... First thing to check might be to ask yourself : "did he recently get his eyeball almost whacked out of hid head"? Might be a starting point!!!!!!! I trust nothing until I see the player back on the ice and even then it's tough. Look at Crosby's re-injury... I'll hope for the best with Giroux and Schenn but I'll believe nothing....

I wonder if the way the injury is reported has something to do with things. Saying he has a virus allows flexibility on how he can be treated. Saying he has concussion like symptoms requires specific medical responses
