  1. @behnam If you get PH on this forum for a chat, I'll send you a Steak-Um with Gov't cheese on a stale hot dog bun.... errr um, I mean a Tony Luke's Cheesesteak. I always get the two confused. Good luck with your quest. May the force be with you.
  2. @Jmdodgesrt4 is this an E1, E2, E3, E4, or a Sargent?
  3. @DaGreatGazoo Crap, thanks for the correction Gazoo. I get my has been Lightning players confused these days. It must be my Snider-itious kicking in.
  4. I am hoping that this is part of a bigger deal. Like he goes to Nashville along with Coburn and a 1st and they send the Flyers Weber. Oh wait, I have to turn off the XBox now and go to work, looks like VP is a Flyer for the long run. SMH....
  5. @radoran "I believe it was the only "North/South" split country in which the "Communists" were on the "South" side (See, also, Vietnam, Korea)." Very good observation. Never thought of it that way.
  6. @DaGreatGazoo There was a South Yemen up till the early 90's. From what I recall it was the only Communist Country within the Arab nations/Middle East. In any case they re-united with the "North" in 1990, but have been pushing for a secessionist movement for some time now. (Vice.com) Now that I have utterly derailed the conversation, I think I have to smash my hard drive before the NSA comes knocking on my door.
  7. @fan4ever Damn, now I need to get a new "bad" team. I guess when all else fails, one can count on Florida to stink.....
  8. Death or Chapter 7 is the only cure for Jerry Jones-itious. A rare, but incurable disease that plagues billionaire businessmen. All kidding aside, this team [probably] will not win with Ed Snider meddling in the hockey end of the operation. He has a trusted GM, scouts, executives, etc. Let them handle the hockey end of things. He just needs to worry about getting richer off the backs of the fans. I can see how this is a very hated franchise from the outside looking in. They are very Cowboys-esque in their tenacity for winning, spin doctoring to the fans, over spending on useless talent, and incompetent coaching. There I said it; Lavy is wearing thin on me and I feel he is one of the many reasons why top flight free agents do not want to sign in Philly. To alleviate any future frustration and to set the bar very low my new teams are as followed: NHL: Columbus Blue Jackets MLB: Miami Marlins NFL: Cleveland Browns Olympics: South Yemen
  9. I think he'll be on the International Space Station in a few weeks. Why you heff to be med? It's just giant rocket ship game....
  10. Translation: Whomever signs him will win the cup next season. Bank on it.
  11. Bryz would have a media inspired meltdown if he was named the backup. The media would destroy this guy.
  12. @JackStraw Apparently not those in the Bustgalov camp lol
  13. May I recommend a book to help you with your hockey deficiencies? http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/hockey-for-dummies-cheat-sheet.html The book may actually help you understand how fatally flawed your defensive proposal is. Just trying to help. Nothing to see here, move along.
  14. @Hexy27 I haven't heard anything, but the speculation was right around 2-2.5MM per year. He may be a good fit on a line Talbot and Couturier. I believe that was tried earlier this year, but I try and forget most of the 2012-13 season lol.
  15. That sums him up perfectly. Wonder if I can convince him that I am his long lost nephew???
  16. I'd almost be inclined to sign Gagne before Penner. Gagne is probably cheaper and at least can back check every now and again.
  17. @murraycraven Agreed on the pass. In regards to the Timmonen signing, the only way I can wrap my head around it is to think that Homer didn't want to put himself in a bidding war against his own player. I am not sure Timmonen would have gotten anywhere near or more than 6mm from another team though. Maybe like a Jagr hindsight thing I suppose.
  18. As opposed to Leighton and Niemi in 2010? I think Rask is playing lights out too.
  19. I'd have to say this losing period hurts. They are a good team that for some reason just don't match well against the Bruins. However, truth be told, I'd rather see my team lose in the 1st round than the Conference Finals. The reason for me is that I am far less emotionally invested in round 1 than I would be by round 3. The most devastating I recall (yes even more so than the Stanley Cup exit in 10'), was loosing the ECF to NJ back in 2000. I am still pissed to this day about that. In any case, the series isn't over until one team wins four games. Not saying another Boston collapse will happen, I just wouldn't rule out a desperate Penguins squad.
