Then, we had to get Talbot back in playing shape, he had some streaks, we neglected to get Kahk his starts, and he lost his edge. Here is my issue. Talbot has played very well in spurts, but we KNOW who he is (as does the NHL). In other words, not a Playoff goalie that will take you far. We don't, however, know what Kahk can be. I think we blew it with him this year riding the Talbot Train, and now he is crashing back to earth and we have a shell-shocked rookie as a back-up.
