They could have started the revolving door of call ups to stay near the bottom when it became clear 2 weeks ago that this team, this year is going nowhere. I would have to say that this year was Bill Guerin's worst year as GM. The needless NMC's, the human resource issues, and the insistence that this team is a contender when it clearly is not.
