BrowntoBure
Here is Daniel's hit that happened 7 minutes earlier. When the video is shown in slow motion it appears to be a shoulder to the head. But, when you look at this still shot of the point of impact, it seems to be pretty clear that the main point of contact is shoulder to chest, with the elbow tucked in being a big factor. Shoulder rises up after.https://twitter.com/#!/BrowntoBure/status/182669203533332481/photo/

flyerrod
Keith is not a Flyer so this hit probably won't get a second look.......but in reality that should be a 3 to 5 game suspension because that was a clear shot to the head with the elbow after the puck was gone. If Downie makes the same play that Keith did, the media would be up in arms screaming about a life time ban from Hockey....The earlier check by Sedin(at least looking at the twitter pic) was clean shoulder to chest as long as the puck was still in there which I can't see in the pic. OzFlyer
At least the puck was somewhat near Keith unlike when Malkin has gone after Giroux's head (sitting on the bench?). pretty dirty though..
