I'd love that hire.As for the first pick:I think Jones is the right choice for the Avalanche. They don't need Mckinnon as they have plenty of centers... if they do take Mckinnon then management is holding a grudge on O'Riley... just dumbDrouin is exciting and would be a major boost to the Avs, as they need goal scoring wingers bad. Having a power forward like Landeskog and a shifty skill player like Drouin would be awesome, they would create an amazing top 6.But that's what Edmonton has done, they have to one on the back end. What's not to like about the choice. It's not like Avs fans need a shiny flashy star to draw them in...they just need to get back to winning.
