Josi was injured on the play.The hit looks clean to me, it doesn't appear that Downie left his feet nor targeted the head. I don't think it should have even been a charge as Downie only took 2 strides before the hit. Downie's skates are on the ice through the hit as Josi's skates are lifted after he braced for the hit. The important thing is that he has learned to keep both skates on the ice through the hit. Clean hit. Shanahan will have him publicly flogged with a cat o'nine tails..
