Vanflyer
I thought this stuff only happens in the States. http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=735664&navid=nhl:topheads RIP to those that were killed. And there is this: "The Islamic State group – also often referred to as ISIL, for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant – specifically threatened Canada and urged its followers to target Canadian citizens in a recording released in late September. A man who recently converted to Islam also reportedly struck two Canadian soldiers in his car in Quebec on Monday. He was killed by pursuing officers." yave1964
@Vanflyer Absolutely sad moment that goes beyond the sport. Sympathy to family members who lost loved ones in this senseless act.

ScottM
I'm a bit late to this since I've been out for several days, but I just wanted to say how great I thought the performance of O Canada on Saturday night was. I wasn't home when it was done, so I saw it on Sports Center later on, but that was just awesome. I may not be Canadian, but I was singing along with them!
