  1. I bet Claude Lemieux didn't cry in the locker room about people hitting him back. Lemieux at least knew he would get it back, this guy expects everyone to just take it!!!! What a maroon!!!!
  2. There's good-natured physical play, then there's blokes like that guy. I heard the goon talking about how people were out to hurt him, not mentioning how he would hit from the blindside and the back. I am not a full time player on that team, just a part-time fill-in for them. The team organiser gave him a good what for after the game. I don't know how often this chap comes out (as I have been there twice), but he won't last long. If his tenure isn't cut short by being kicked out, there will be chaps that will hurt him badly.
  3. ... a situation, where you are in a beer league game with a d-bag who has NO problem collaring a bloke with his arm around his neck, yet he complains when people react to the d-bag way he plays. This d-bag elbowed me down in a corner, and everyone hears me say "let's go you f***ing tosser, you p***y m***er f***er. The next shift i play against this guy I make certain to cross check, smack, punch and otherwise smack him around; yet he complains when this treatment is done BACK to him. Another hockey forum says I am a D-bag to complain about people who trip on purpose; though I GUARAN-F***ING-TEE that ANYONE who plays against this D-bag would drop the gloves against this D-bag. I am NOT a bloke who wants to do this; I HATE dropping gloves, but this bloke 100% DESERVES getting schooled by those of us who don't appreciate the D-Bag moves. I had no FEWER than four blokes on my team who wanted a piece of this bloke. I whacked him five times in my last shift against him and hoped to freakin' CLOBBER this d-bag... Were we wrong?!? Am I a D-bag for needing to defend my team's honour against such sludge play?!?
  4. This goes on a Bruins road sweater:
  5. @fan4ever The bunny in my avatar was the inspiration- she is a fierce boxer and doo rag killer; but she is, in the end MY little sweetheart.
  6. Junkyard Athletics has helped me come up with a logo for a team I hope to field.
  7. Watching early Hawks at Blues games, we would chant "murray" at Murray Bannerman. Bloody hell that makes me feel old...
  8. I really don't think they have the cap room, frankly.
  9. @radoran mmmm hmm. Derek Roy is expendable. I see goalie prospects on the Blues that could make a trade for a sniper work. We don't need Miller, and with the Blues up against a salary cap, this move wouldn't help.
  10. @jammer2 If anything, I see the Blues trading a goalie for a sniper. Miller is good, but I see ZERO upgrade in this case. If it were Elliot and Jake Allen, then Miller would make sense.
  11. Yes, I heard that on the radio this morning. The Blues need scoring, not another goalie.
  12. I am thinking 8, though then we are mixing references. 420 won't work because of the two digit rule. List your preference.
  13. @Chicago Hawkie Yep yep!!!! It will be fun, fo sho!!!!! Daddy hopes the Blues and 'Hawks meet, as well!!!!! I am certain my reporting will be as slanted and mean-spirited as normal. See that doo rag? What colours is it? lol
  14. Steenie needs to get back- we're worthless without him.
  15. @Chicago Hawkie Yes, it was a parade to the sin bin. Silly, silly. And for the record, while Trix was being a bit mean-spirited in her commentary, we are both glad for the 'Hawks and Joel that your team is actually competitive in the last decade. We love a team that puts up a fight!!!!
  16. My boy Vladdy Tarasenko was great tonight!!!!! one goal, two assists, and a goal in the shootout makes him GREAT!!!!! The Blues were down 5-3 at one point, never led the game UNTIL the end of the shootout by my boy Shatty, the Blues have character and have shown those stinky Blackhawks that they smell like Daddy's hockey equipment that sits in his car boot!!!!! Daddy and I love Quenville, but we BOTH bleed BLUE!!!! We have your number, William Wirtz 3!!!!!!
  17. We all know I got some gloves, but I also got a Blues sweater! After all these years, I finally have a Blues sweater!!!!! Pix o' loot to come... What did y'all gets?
  18. Well, if not Cherry for HOF, then Cherry NEEDS to be the NHL Commissioner!!!! Fire, then EXECUTE Bettman!!!!!
  19. Specs: pattern: x844 with mods material: real leather palm: real leather 1/2" longer cuff, extra padding on fingers and thumb, "Bunnyman" embroidered on cuff. White assembly thread, black binding, natural leather gussets. Eagle branding on cuff roll and Eagle head burnt into the leather. They are not "ready to play" out of the box. They are a fair bit stiffer than any glove I have ever played with. I didn't play with leather back in the day; I had nylon, then cable-knit outer shells, but with leather palms. I am wearing them whilst watching tele to break them in. They will not come out every single game, more than likely. But I can tell these will be with me for a few years. I chose a nice, stiff glove. You can get a more ready-to-play glove with cable-knit, as well as other softer materials. MHS is their performance palm, but you can spec a leather palm. E mailing the production manager, other palms may be available. If you are looking for a pair of totally custom, North American made hockey gloves, Eagle is your ticket. Warrior is also making gloves in Canada, but only have a few options and Portofino Leather (not real leather). Eagle has a variety of materials and designs, will make a pair of discontinued gloves, and will work with you on every little detail. While I am certain Warrior will work with you, I feel that Eagle has superior customer service. If custom is what you need, Gus (the production manager) will lead you in the right path to get your custom gloves going. www.eaglehockey.com
