  1. Michkov doing pretty well there for HK Sochi team. In 19 played games he has already 18 points(9goals;9 assists). And our prospect Khusnutdinov has in 10 played games 4 points (2 goals;2 assists) for the same team.
  2. Our Iowa Wild goalie prospect Jesper Wallstedt was named AHL player of the week for the period ending on November 5th.: https://www.iowawild.com/news/detail/jesper-wallstedt-named-ahl-player-of-the-week
  3. I am still trying to adapt to a new time 3rd day in a row already. Probably, similar conditions have our players too. Different working hours now, different and late sleeping time too because our body adapted to a previous and more physiological time for our not a simple climate. Why it takes so long to understand that we do not get any benefits (absolute zero) to the humans as well as to economics? And Minnesota smartly passed legislation to keep permanently daylight savings time last year, which is much better for our Northern state in the US instead of jumping back and forth with the time 2 times a year.
  4. Thanks. Here is more to read about center forward Nic Petan: https://www.iowawild.com/news/detail/minnesota-wild-reassigns-recalls-forward-nic-petan-from-iowa
  5. Not an easy game as well as trip (3 games this week on a road). Hope we can get at least 1 point out of this one.
  6. I do not think Gustavsson was bad in all those 3 goals. They were tough and screened to take them. He just was not lucky at the start of the game. 3 goals on 4 shots were time to replace him then. I do not think that Fleury would be able to take them either.
  7. That was a really cardiac game for me too. After the bad start with 0:3 score our team showed the character and was able to win in SO.
  8. Kind of skeptical regarding our win tonight. Rangers are 1st so far in their Metropolitan Division and won 6 games in a row already. I will be happy if we will get at least one point out of this game.
  9. I just looked for Sharks stats. They didn't win any games at all yet and after 10 played games they are at 0-9-1.They also have 4 our former players : Granlund: Kunin; Sturm and Kahkonen.
  10. We are at 2nd place after Sharks in entire league on most goals placed by opposite teams in our net so far. They have 45 goals in their net and we received 43 goals in our net after 10 played games. Flames are on a 3rd place with 38 goals which they have got in their net.
  11. If we will not start winning our games then Evason will lose his position faster, even before the end of the season. Sincerely I was expected from our goaltending more successful play than what I have seen so far.
  12. Those are great news. It should be as maximum protection as possible for this type of physical sport. Then we will see less injuries, especially untreatable or fatal.
  13. Just looked for his records at eliteprospects. He had 2 nice seasons for U of MN team in Duluth. Then he played for Penguins and it's farm team in AHL few seasons, then he moved to Europe and played 1 full season and started this season very well with Nottingham Panthers. In 7 played games he had 7 points (4 goals;3 assists). Sadly, such a horrible death stopped his nice professional career in his young age.
  14. Horrible tragedy for the young player from Minnesota. All our prayers and condolences go to his family, relatives, friends. Is any way to prevent this terrible accidents in the future? Wow, sharp blade went to the neck. Maybe that accident will give some thoughts in that direction? Probably, special collar design developed for that reason will help to avoid any unintentional or even intentional injuries in that area. It seems for other parts of the body we have some protection, but not for the neck.
  15. Ryan Hartman was named NHL 3rd Star of the week. https://www.nhl.com/wild/news/hartman-named-nhl-third-star-of-week-103023
  16. What is a status for Boldy? When he supposed to start playing? Just looked at our standing table. We placed the most goals so far in our Division (32), but the opposite teams placed in our net the most goals too (38) which is a lot in only 9 played games this season. Interesting, Maroon in 9 played games has 7 points (1 goal; 6 assists; +/- +1); Addison has 4 assists; Brodin has 1 goal and 3 assists; Faber has 1 goal and 2 assists; Mermis has 2 goals and 2 assists in 7 played games; and Hartman has 9 points (6 goals and 3 assists) in 9 played games. But who has the most points? EEK 10 points (5 goals; 5 assists) so far.
  17. With all this inconsistent play (in production; in defense; in goaltending) and maybe it is too early, but I am already concerned if we will make playoffs this season. Plus also , it seems we are still going to do a time change this coming weekend which is always affecting our normal biological clock and does not bring any benefits at all to our body. It takes a while for our body to adapt to the new time 2 times a year, especially with aging. And of course, in my opinion and of my 46 years of medical experience, it is affecting the play of our players too. At 4 p.m. during the fall and winter we have darkness already in our state when moving back 1 hour, which is depressing part for most people, including fans and players. Minnesota passed already legislation on a permanent daylight saving time together with some other states (which means we should keep daylight saving time permanently/forever), but still nothing is happening. Strange slow movements so far in that direction. The most smartest states are Arizona and Hawaii which never changed the time in their history. In my opinion, the ideally for our Minnesota state would be to move time even 1 hour forward now and to keep it permanently. This way we will have darkness in about 6 p.m. instead of 4 p.m. especially during the winter time. Here is a latest update regarding our daylight savings: https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-senate-approves-bill-that-would-make-daylight-savings-time-permanent-2023-2022-03-15/
  18. Disappointing loss. We got only 1 point out of 3 road games. Sad and not acceptable for our team. Next game should be a revenge on our home ice. And I am so sorry for the mistake in a title thread. I just found out after reading entire thread. It should be Sunday, but not Saturday. Maybe TFG will help us again in correction that?
  19. We should try to win this game on a road. So far 1 point out of 2 road games. We need lots of points.
  20. No, I am not mad at all . I was talking just about the last game options to chose in SO. Freddie is injured, and of course, he has talent in SO. I agree, probably, he deserves to be in slot 2 after Kaprizov when healthy. Let's put 1st pressure on Kaprizov (who is AC), and then to Freddie; Zuccarello; Boldy; Rossi (who gradually is making the progress in NHL); Johanssen; EEK. No questions, last game we played better than the previous game. Total 4 games in 1 week not an easy to play task, but we do not have ability to chose. NHL schedule is NHL schedule. And let's put Fleury for the next game too. Why not? How many games he suppose to win to past Roy?
  21. Or maybe Foligno? For that game SO I would put first Johanssen, Rossi, EEK, Zuccarello , Kaprizov, Our former goalie Kuemper played very motivated to win this game against us, who was named #1 star of the game, #2 star was Fleury.
  22. Win or not to win this game? That is the question for our team now. Capitals also struggles with consistent winning play like our team. Probably, our former goalie Darcy Kuemper will play motivated against us as well as Ovechkin who often placed hat tricks in our net previous seasons. Surprisingly, he is struggling too with his production this season. From our part, it seems we added another player (Gaudreau) to our injured list.
  23. One our employee today told me that Flyers team actually has total 4 Minnesotans in their team: Brink, Seeler, Cates and Poehling.
