  1. Homer looks like a smart man Look at the crazy money for players in my eyes are not worth it 5 years $24.25 for Clowe Horton 7 contract, $37.1 solid player but too many injuries Filppula 5yr $25 million Clarkson $5.25 mill per season for 7 yrs Ribeiro 4yrs 23mill
  2. Flyers went from paying Bryz $5.66 vs cap to 2 players who will cost them a combined $3.25 million
  3. Dave Isaac ‏@davegisaac 5 Jul RT @Real_ESPNLeBrun Done deal: Flyers agree to one year, $1.75 M deal with Ray Emery
  4. Tim Panaccio ‏@tpanotchCSN 8s finally CONFIRMED earlier reports from TSN/RDS. 1 yr deal for Emery as a Flyer. Flyers will make it a battle for No.1 at reasonable cost
  5. I agree it is a solid move. Flyers got emery back into the NHL and another chance. I don't care what cruddy penguins think because flury stinks
  6. Darren Dreger ‏@DarrenDreger 5 Jul Expect Emery to sign with Flyers. Expect a 1 yr deal. Strategic move to establish starter role and bigger $$ down the road. Retweeted by Tim Panaccio

  8. It's a lot of money and years It's a chance the flyers have to take. I look at this way homer and snider piss off every other gm in the league, example parise, sutter, pronger, weber, flyers go out try to out pay everyone, if they did not lock up G right away you know dang right well another team would lick their chops at a chance of offering a huge payday for G just piss off the Homer and sinder

  10. two-year, $8 million contract he Montreal Canadiens have agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent forward Daniel Briere on a two-year, $8 million contract. The 35-year-old spent the past six seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers. During the lockout shortened 2012-13 campaign, Briere posted six goals and 16 points in 34 games. Prior to his time in Philadelphia, Briere spent time with the Buffalo Sabres and Phoenix Coyotes. The 15-year veteran was originally drafted 24th overall by the Coyotes in the 1996 NHL Draft. In 847 career games, Briere has 286 goals and 659 point http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=426956
  11. Please don't trade coots stop trading our young player let them develop. If they do I hope it come back to bite them in the ass like patrick sharp, justin williams
  12. Bryzgalov part deux!! Quote: Lecavalier: "I'm tired of playing on an offense-first team with a weak blue line and shaky goaltending. So I am signing with the Flyers." ... Lecavalier basically had his choice of eating in any restaurant in the world and chose a crowded Sbarro in a bad neighborhood.
  13. why why why. HOMER NEEDS TO BE FIRED. We don't have a backup goalie yet. We don't have enough good d so lets go sign a high priced foward. lord wtf
  14. http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=676135&navid=nhl:topheads Not real big flyers news
  15. the team is down right now but if he has issues with the team keep it in the locker room dont go to the media.
  16. Easy Breezy Beautiful color girl is just a moron I cant wait till hes gone. The team infront of him has no confidence in him what so ever
  17. I know the flyers are in a rut but man your own goalie should not be saying crap like since he is getting paid 60 mill for being an avg goalie http://sports.yahoo....X09mZg--;_ylv=3
  18. sounds like the guy who sharpened your skates did a crap job take a look at the blade see if there is an waves in the blade. Take your finger along the side and rub it up the side, if it feels dull than they are dull. try getting a flt bottom V cut 100/70 its what I have done makes a huge difference

  20. https://twitter.com/tpanotchCSN http://www.theglobea...article4618052/ Still does not look good even with the 50/50 split
  21. i love the nhl I grew up playing ice-hockey fand still play today, but i am really done with all pro sports. I will continue to follow the flyers but not as hard core as I have been since the late 80's and up till last year. i will watch college hockey on tv and go to college games at the local rink near me and pick up a few HS games as well, and watch kids who play for the love of game. The NHL will never recover from this lockout. All the new fans they gained will be lost. They do not have the TV /sponsorship marketing like baseball football and bball to keep having lockouts.
  22. I take this signing that nashville will not match the flyers offer and will not be back so they are getting their other rfa's or fa's signed. "Less" money to sign Weber now. Looking good for Flyer fans News from Nashville: Siarhei Kastsitsyn (NSH) has settled: 2 yrs AAV $3 mil. — Darren Dreger (@DarrenDreger) July 23, 2012
  23. i dont see the preds forking over that kinda of money they don't have the backing like snider does with unlimited pockets of Comcast a multi-billon dollar company good article here http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1264769-nhl-free-agency-2012-reasons-predators-wont-match-flyers-offer-for-shea-weber
