    It has been a long time since I've like a flyers team so much. I enjoy each game. Sure they can put up the odd stinker but any team can. I love the heart with this team and their ability to come back. I just wish their defense was healthy and then who knows??? As it stands now I still think they have a chance for the cup. Hopefully Grossmann will be ok from todays game.

    I think his head was down b/c it was such a long shift. If you watch you will see he had no gas at all. Unfortunate. I hope he is ok. He has been a great addition to the team.

    That was a shot to the head. But that is why there should be changes on icing. He was exhausted and couldn't defend himself. Bad hit. Bad rule.

    Yes i did and I only had a chance to watch the game haphazardly as I packed for a trip. I did catch the highlights and i remember on a number of occasions thinking the same thing. Great observation.

    Hartnell must have gone to a power skating camp. He has also been able to handle the puck much better. Truely he has been Hartnell 2.0 this year as all can see. I must admit I did not see this coming. Great for him.

    I think this is the last of his last year of his post-cup appearance 2 year contract. He provides them with a bit of security for the year and then he goes on his merry way thereafter. As mentioned above, "Hovinen will be the Phantoms goalie next year." who is the next "up and coming" goalie in the system....not that the flyers have a goalie system.

    I was thinking the ice was probably bad enough that he was forced to shoot. Not the shot I would have liked but I knew he was shooting. However the point remains is that he needs to be the "secondary" scoring.

    Agreed. The storey line is getting old. At least this gives Lavy an easy way out to go back to Bryz. Hopefully this is the silver lining and that Bryz will come to form. If not.....
