  1. I think the Flyers have a pretty good Goalie tandem in Hart and Martin. Like you all said though Martin should be a good trading piece though.
  2. Yandle needs to be put out to pasture. They just said Brassard got his #200.
  3. You are correct that a strong and experienced D is very important.
  4. So you all are talking like a mass exit of players in Philly. What players do you think will stick? I imagine Hart, Farabee, Konecny, Sanheim, Frost, York and Lindblom are must stays.
  5. They have made it almost through the first half of the 1st period.
  6. I did until the last 30 seconds of the game. Pretty much to a tee as the goals came on the PP as well. That changed pretty damn quickly.
  7. This was certainly one of those games where the team who played the better overall game didn't get the most points in the end.
  8. Thanks for the welcome. Had a good time chatting on the thread last evening.
  9. I saw that post game interview and he seemed like he had something up his ***. I know he just lost the game to his former team, but like you said he seemed like a royal douchebag. Definitely wouldn't want that sort of player no matter how talented he is.
  10. Still think the next goal is the game winner and most likely it will come on a power play. As the teams tire the more mistakes and penalties will come which means more chances.
  11. Both teams are on a back to back. The Jackets got blown out by the Isles on the road while the Wild squeaked on out in a Shoot Out against the Wings. So both teams will be struggling as they were both on the road as well. The Wild in my opinion are the better overall team, but are once again on the road. I see a low scoring sloppy game with the the goals coming on the power play. Maybe a 2-1 win for the Wild.
  12. Ekblad has been a steady force on the D line for the Panthers that is for sure and the addition of Weegar has solidified the D even more. We all know what the Panthers can put up on the offensive side, but come playoff time it will come down to the D to get it done.
  13. I mean maybe he wants chemistry or something like that, but honestly that doesn't make a damn bit of sense.
  14. That is a damn shame. I never understood how a teams front office can have the mindset of aging players are the answer winning championships. It is good to have that one or two or maybe even three aging vets on the team, but the team must be built around the younger talent.
  15. I do believe the Flyers have a few players that have a lot of talent and one hell of a young goalie. I think it is something to start with there. From what you all are saying and I suppose you know Flyers hockey more than I do and the failures of the front office it may take quite some time for them to put together a top level team.
  16. Thanks for allowing me to put my two cents in on tonight's game.
  17. The current record is by Kevin Stevens of the Penguins with 69. Huberdeau has 64 already this season so the record is definitely going to be shattered.
  18. Empty net hat trick for Reinhart and 4 Assists for both Huberdeau and Ekblad tonight. Also this makes 5 wins in a row for the Panthers.
  19. Jonathan Huberdeau is leading the league in Assists with 63 and breaks his season record tonight.
  20. The Panthers can put up some offense as evidence to there league leading lead in goals. Tonight it is possible if they keep the foot on the throttle, but I doubt they do once the 2nd period ends.
  21. Oh My, I imagine all of you have either turned this off already or weren't watching in the first place. The chants of "We Want Ten" have already started at FLA Live Arena. Wow, this period could not have gone any worse for the Flyers and Carter Verhaeghe, Sam Reinhart, Jonathan Huberdeau had incredible 1st periods for the Panthers. That is all I am going to say.
