Looks like the Memorial Cup did indeed move MacKinnon back to #1. http://www.isshockey.com/iss-top-30/ Should be a very interesting draft. Why do I have the feeling the Flyers will take a forward.

They talked about the disallowed goal which was reviewed by the NHL reviewer in Toronto that does all the NHL goal reviews. They said that the rule was that a puck directed into the net by a hand even it goes off of another player or goalie and into the net will be disallowed. I am not sure how the rule is exactly worded. So it doesn't matter if it went of Fucale's leg it hit his leg directly after Rattie drop it down into the crease towards the open net. He didn't get his stick on it. Thank God that one didn't count. MacKinnon was ridiculous in that Tournament. I am a Moosehead's Season Ticket holder and waiting 19 years for this. Still soaking it in. I made a point of watching Jones when he played against the Mooseheads, and he was a giveaway machine...couldn't clear the puck out of his own end. I am biased, but you don't have to be a fan of either team to see how these top 3 guys were playing. Even Drouin.....5 assists in the Final....crazy. Detroit stole Frk in the 2nd round of the draft last year. Don't know how Detroit always seem to get a great guy with their late picks.

I am so proud of the Flyers that the just lost 5 positions in the draft and get the 13th overall pick instead of the 8th overall pick.

Yes...thank u Flyers for not making the playoffs and by winning a bunch of meaningless games, and at the same time taking us out of the running of a top forward or defensmen who could take the franchise to a Cup win.

Voracek for me. He stepped up his game a level. He also was the quintessential teammate, getting his nose dirty and sticking up for his teammates.

Hey folks. Mooseheads one win away from the Q final beating Rouyn Noranda 3-2 in OT. Drouin is clutch again scoring the OT goal on a nice give and go with MacKinnon. No more pts then that for either. In 11 games Drouin has 8 G and 17 A and MacKinnon in 11 games has 7 G and 17 A. It rots my socks that we won't have a shot at these guys.

Tonights game...Mooseheads squeak out a 5-4 overtime win. MacKinnon and Drouin both with 1 G and 3 A. Both are looking very good. 1st goal for Moose a minute into the the game, MacKinnon up ice pass to Drouin for a short handed breakaway and he cashes in. Man I love that guy. I see TB is doing a good job at losing, too bad it wasn't the Flyers.

People insinuate to the fact that the QMJHL is easier to score in, or there is more offense or the defense is worse whatever it is, but are their stats to back that up? There are a lot of players from the Q that scored a lot in the Q and in the NHL. Is the Q still considered an inferior league to the OHL and WHL?

@Phillygrump My favorite team for this playoffs is whoever is playing the Penguins.

@flyercanuck Lol...wow 10 years. Being a fan of an "American" team, it bugs me how I have to watch hilights of all the Canadian teams and every time the playoffs or trade period or draft rolls around, I have to watch a summary of all the Canadian teams before you even get a mention about all the other NHL teams. Do they think all Canadians cheer for "Canadian" teams? See...I don't see this as the United States vs Canada when I watch these games. When we get into the playoffs you hear people say..."well I am going for Vancouver because they are a Canadian team". To me these are hockey clubs. It has nothing to do with Canada vs the United States. That iritates me when people make it that. I don't cheer for the Flyers because they are American. I cheer for the organization. I think their are more Canadians on the Flyers then some of the Canadian teams. Hell....the Red Wings are Team Europe. Wasn't the Flyers the last NHL club with all Canadians on the roster to win the Stanley Cup? Anywho...ok....I am done.

.....Toronto Maple Leafs making the playoffs is a top story on Canada's national news on CTV. Make me sick...I had to actually turn over the channel. Pathetic.

For those who care. Doesn't look like we are going to get a shot at these guys, but update from tonights first game of the third round Mooseheads vs Rouyn Noranda. MacKinnon had 3G and 1 Assist and Drouin had 2 goals and 3 Assists in a 6-4 Moose win. The Huskies pulled their goalie and Drouin could have shot it in for a hattrick, but passed it off to MacKinnon to give him a hattrick. Drouin looked more like himself tonight. Had a beautiful Penalty Shot goal. MacKinnon's speed is amazing. Too bad we will be watching them play for someone else. Way to go Flyers!

I saw Zadorov play in the Prospects game in Halifax and he is huge and looks like a beast. If we end up further down the draft board, I would be excited about this guy.
