I agree with your evaluation on Talbot. Edmonton is in big trouble. Fans will not be happy..
Thanks for listening!

Gaudreau is a great player but the 8 million mark scares me and I am a Flames fan. His play on the road is horrible - (thanks for the stats JR Ewing). This makes me very hesitant. I honestly think a 7.25 for 6 years makes sense for all. He is a great player and a fan favorite. He sells tickets! This all plays a role. Time is running out - --

I question if Greiss is ready to start too. But I question about 40% of the starters. I am not sure anything will happen with this, but decisions need to be made.

JR Ewing
Yep that pretty much sums him up.....
-
This is typical Corey Perry. His day will come some day. The part that is frustrating is that he is talented and does not have to do this. he can frustrate his opponents by scoring goals...

I love making predictions, but always shake my head a few days later and say "what was I thinking"!!

I like your idea... Makes total sense. One thing that I do not get is how the NHLPA protects players who commit offenses. They appeal suspensions all the time. Do they not realize that they are committing these offenses to another player in the same NHLPA. Don't get it!
-
Bobrovsky is a strong possibility, and he would likely be a good fit.
-
Your right the punishment does fit the crime based on past offenses. But that is the problem. The NHL needs to make these decisions without taking the players name into account. If they are serious about eliminating these plays the penalties would be stiffer!

The Jets have a bright future ahead of them. Good young talent at every position..
-
Evander Kane would be a good fit in Detroit. He would be a good fit for all 30 teams if he could just keep his nose clean. I do not see Buffalo moving him, but he is on the radar. Buffalo is worried the message he will send to their young talent, and I can't blame him..
-
I am guessing Chicago...
-
With Big Buff signed it is all but a formality that Ladd will be gone..
-
I am agreeing with you...

I actually think that Reimer has been good for the Leafs. But He has received zero respect. If I was him I would leave the Leafs hanging like they have done to him so many times....

He has struggled. That is another great mid-season surprise. My gut feeling is that he has a very strong second half. Tampa will have a great second half. Very talented team.
-
Some very good points. I think the term that should be used is "big name" instead of star. Thanks for your insight. Just for the record I do not see Carolina making the playoffs.

You have to realize that this was posted three weeks ago. Things have changed and I may just pick differently now. I guess that is why they are called predictions.

I agree, I would do whatever it takes also. I just can't believe that the Blue Jackets would ever move him. It would be a huge mistake. Time heals everything.

I agree with you. Toronto is probably marginal, and I do agree with the entertainment perspective you have with St. Louis ---- you nailed it. I agree on Florida, and even Buffalo. Colorado is sloppy and I don't see a lot of entertainment factor other than MacKinnon, and Duchene. I have had some second thoughts on not having Chicago. They are good and entertaining. Just maybe a little sick of watching them, but that is not fair to them. Thanks for your input....

When this was written Eichel was not off to a rocking start. He is playing very well now as expected and is owned by most fantasy owners. Buffalo has a bright future. What are you talking about when you say Ekblad?? He was the rookie of the year last season and is no longer a rookie??? Good luck in your fantasy league.
