    If playoffs started this week. Final would likely be Florida vs Edmonton or Vancouver

    Ill stand by this prediction for now. I do not see any team being more impressive than Florida, though Tampa has come on of late.  In the West Edmonton are playing well and are pretty much on fire.  Vancouver has been a thorn in their side and they have the best record in the NHL last time I checked.  Vegas of course  cant be eliminated.  And how about those Blues?  When Binnington is in goal they can beat anyone. I keep waiting for a talented Toronto team to get it going and play up to their potential.  As for my Sabres I still do not count them out of a come from behind playoff spot but there is little room for error from here on out. They need to beat Dallas next game to reach 500.  Then they get the Blues.  If they were going to fire Granato it would have happened already.  I think the late surge just before the break saved him.  And now it seems they  have finally realized Luukenen is the starter.  As he should be. I wish they would make a trade.  Id trade Greenway.  Size for speed.

    Come on.  You’re a Pittsburgh fan.  And they have been playing well I know.  I still believe Luukenen is our best option.  He had been our best goalie.  I’ll pay more attention later.  Right now the Bills are more important 

    Sabres need to win tonight perhaps to save Granato's job?

    I have posted in several Sabres sites that I want Adams gone.  Not Granato.  But I do not think most agree.  I expect an effort tonight after they sleep walked in a blowout loss to Columbus recently and then they responded with a win with 9 goals.  But now Tage Thompson is gone for "personal reasons" they say?  It must be serious.  If thetiy lost to Columbus tonight, which is likely a coin flip, maybe the Sabres play Luukenen and win, I believe Granato will be fired and might as well go to Times Square to fight the Palestinians tomorrow night.  

    Stupid Adams needs to be fired, not Granato who is likely on thin ice

    There is definitely something wrong with this team. Year after year they inked very skilled and promising young players, they start the season well before having an epic collapse that boots them out of the play-off picture. The 9-4 rout yesterday shows that something is broken and this is serious. It's like the players gave up.

    So now they come back and beat the Leafs 9-3!  Must have been some ass chewing given out by Granato.  I heard he was stone faced at practice after that loss.

    The return of Jack Quinn is huge.  He had a goal and an assist.  He is a big piece to get back

    Granato is no doubt on thin ice after last nights meltdown.  There are a few things that must be done.  First is to fire Adams.  Whether that happens or not, I trade Krebs, OR either Power or Dahlin to get a goalie, maybe Winnipeg finally bites with that offer?  Send us Hellenbuck.  We give you Krebs and either Power or God help us Dahlin.  Something drastic must be done. Granato made one big error.  He put more faith in Levi after a rehab i Rochester than in Luukenen who has to be pissed.  Luuk had played well enough to win the job and then they put Levi in.  Well 9-4 stupt home vs Columbus.  Now Columbus has been far better and especially on offense.  It showed up last night and now what does Adams do?  I wish they would fire Adams, and tell Granato, "until we get a trade, you start Luukenen and that is it. "  I would trade Krebs.  Im not sure if Hellenbuck is worth more than Krebs and a second round pick? But if they insist, maybe we must send Power in a straight up trade?  The return of Quinn cant come fast enough.  Having him with Paterka will be huge. But more must be done. Levi is a bust.

For one, I don't understand how you can play friggin' Casey Mittlestadt ahead of Cozens. these two players are not even on the same planet, unless something is wrong with Cozens (like sophomore jinx or injuries). The kid is the future star and has some unreal skills, while Mittlestadt should be cemented on the third line. This is the good way to mess up a young player...

    His decision to start Comrie is worse.  So Mad Dog?  Your not same member as Sanifan right?

    What I've always liked about you is you're so on top of things.

    I don’t get this coach.  They deserve to lose.  He is the only goalie that is half good.  I’m not watching them now.  So I don’t bother looking at the site listing the goalies.  I assumed he had the common sense to play Luukenen against a hot team.  I just looked and he’s listed injured /illness.  Maybe Covid?
