I thinking the Avs probably think they can get by either us or the Blues really. I honestly hope they have that sort of mentally though and to be honest if they go up against the likes of Dallas they are going to have their hands full in that series.

I honestly don't think so.
Especially since Colorado seems to be scuffling to get wins.

I believe their primary objective is to play well heading into the post season, and if it means putting up a W on the Wild to get them going into the playoffs on a good note, so be it.

I would think their coaches are looking hard at Dallas and Nashville scouting reports as that is who they see first.
What happens after that (assuming they win), against either MN or StL shouldn't be neither here nor there for them.
At least, that is how I think a championship minded team SHOULD be thinking.

Are the Avs that?
Would they try hedging bets?
Who knows...but good chance if they do, they could be setting themselves up for a big backfire.
