We were too tired to stay up for last night’s game and decided to head to bed around 8:30.

Tonight we took a nap before the game. Not sure how long I’ll last, because I’m still dealing with post-Covid issues. I have Mucinex with codeine and an inhaler now. I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Never thought I'd call an Anaheim Ducks game a "measuring stick" game for Minnesota, but I am.
Ducks are awful, John Gibson has not been good.... Wild NEED to beat these guys and at least show that they truly deserved better after last night's 1-0 loss against a Kings team that is much better than Anaheim is.

Depleted or not, the Wild just gotta show up here.

That was some good pressure and cycling by the Wild just now.

They need to keep doing that. Anaheim defense will crack, and Gibson's confidence will crack with it if the Wild can keep putting pucks on net.

Also, not liking teams continuing to take liberties with KK.
You can tell the Wild's heavy machinery players aren't in because teams are doing the proverbial "while cat's away, mice will play" schtick and pushing limits with Kap.

Lousy time for a penalty to kill what was some momentum.

Agree.
While I won't say the penalty wasn't deserved, let's see if the refs call this down the middle. I've already seen Anaheim players with some questionable stuff the refs let go early on.

I could be wrong, but Tyson Jost could possibly be even WORSE than the Un-Johnny at finishing plays...

I was going to say, Jost leaving the box should go right to the bench instead of joining the offensive rush. 😄
