The Wild called up Dakota Mermis, many are expecting some trade to go down.  Lots of Brock Boeser talk since his agent has talked about finding a way to make the money work somehow.  So who knows what may happen before today's game.

Columbus has felt like the red-headed stepchild of the NHL since 2000.  I guess Brodin is out tonight, so Mermis and Addison draw back into the lineup.

Brodin looked way off last game so that might explain it if he wasn't feeling well.

The Boeser talk meaning we'll be a Banker again?
Maybe that's all part of the process to cozy up and help teams so eventually one will take Greenway and Dumba off our hands.😁

Well, hopefully they get more than a fourth round pick two years from now for playing "banker"...

Being a back to back we'll see both goalies. I'd stay with Gus tonight to keep the vibe going and familiarity of his style.
No need to change things up goalie wise with a team we should beat.
Wild Win 4-2.

*edit...and of course we start Fleury. 🙃
