I don't care who we're playing or how desperate they might be. These last 5 games is where we should be focusing on playing PO Hockey.

Wild might need to install one of these in the locker room...maybe it helps, I dunno.

In defense of the officials they have a lot to figure out.

There's how much home ice advantage do I give? How much do I dislike the headcoach vs the other headcoach, How will making a call affect the betting line? Will I make it to my car if I call the wrong penalties? Which coach or GM gave me the most side money?

The decisions and ramifications can really be taxing.

Also depends on which section of the rulebook they are supposed to be enforcing in a given game...

"Hmm...are we on Dat 70's hockey?"
"Or maybe the free wheeling 80's rules apply today?"
"Oh wait, it might be 90's/00's clutching and trapping day?"

It is better to stay tied at 0 because the 2 goal lead is the hardest lead in hockey to defend, or the classic, Race horses losing "hundreds" of pounds during a race.

Wild drop two to Vegas and losing this one to the Pens...Meanwhile, the Bolts lost a big statement type game to the overrated Rangers and are now imploding against the grinding Islanders.

And come playoff time who knows what will get called?

One thing we do know, is there will be one series in the opening round where nothing will be called short of murder or decapitation.

And then everything will be called again after the series is over.

It happens every year.
