I anticipated Fleury getting the opening night start due to him chasing a record for wins on opening.
Glad to see Evason not pandering to stats and going with Gus.

Thanks for starting the thread @bbgarnett.

I was going to do it but got sidetracked with an assortment of stuff here at home and am JUST NOW able to sit and watch our boys play!


So far, if the numbers are anything to go by, Gus is sharp in seeing all those shots (yea...Florida DOES generate quite a bit!), and good on Faber seeing his first goal!

Some DAMNED good cycling by the Wild and making things very uncomfortable for Bobrovsky.

If Minnesota can consistently do that game in, game out, they may just get away with an an average to below average offensive output.
Tough way to make a living though...
