flyercanuck
When I was a teenager we had an early cold winter with barely any snow. That lake reminds me of it, great ice with a few drifts scattered around (we had more snow than there is on there). About a dozen of us were out there with a few pucks all day long, skating and passing all over the place. When we finally realized we should head back we were probably about 10 miles away from where we lived, with the wind blowing against us. We were all absolutely beat when we got back to our frozen boots, then had to walk home.
Digityman
@flyercanuck but every minute was worth it I'm sure.
flyercanuck
My fondest memory ever of outdoor hockey, and we never played a game.
