hf101
White was given a 5 game suspension today for his hit delivered to Kent Huskins. This suspension is tied for the longest this season with Kaleta's hit on Brad Richards.http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?catid=60&id=239958. ZeZel25
Didn't think it was a 5 game suspension hit to be honest. Thought 2 or 3. Huskins lost the puck and did dip his head a bit upon contact. The angle and a slight motion of elevating too me, got him the suspension IMO
mojo1917
First time offender , five seems harsh, until you factor in this is the hit the league wants to eliminate, I definitely think a suspension is warranted I think the amount of games is trying to make this hit a benchmark going forward. I'd be satisfied with 2or3 games.
Polaris922
Kind of like the Giroux hit on Zubrus except head on... Or Steckel on Crosby... 1 for G and 0 for Steckel.. 5 for White? I agree the head on factor is a little more malicious but four games more??
