flyercanuck
Yup! Gonna go at least six now huh? Good series. Fun to watch. Teams are getting vested in it now. If Fleury weren't stumbling so badly this series would be over. But he's starting to make me believe last year wasn't a fluke... I dunno what's wrong with him. He's already made me believe his cup run was a fluke. This is the 4th year in a row he's been mediocre to horrible in postseason. doom88
Letang has looked especially terrible in his own end with dreadful turnovers. Flower is lucky the Islanders keep flubbing shots and chances.

Flower is lucky the Islanders keep flubbing shots and chances.Actually that was Orpik with the big turnovers in the last game. Letang has been one of the more solid D men back there. But as I've said in other posts... every defenseman looks bad when your goalie is pushing the puck into his own net from rebounds off the end boards. LOL It's so horrid it's humorous sometimes... I don't know what else to do but laugh or lose my sanity.
flyercanuck
@Polaris922I'm seeing one good year. The year he won the cup he was .908 and 2.61. Those numbers pale in comparison to Quick or Thomas' numbers the last 2 years. They're decent, but hardly good. His other 5 playoffs are downright bryzgalion-like. 2006–07 Pittsburgh Penguins NHL 5 1 4 — — 287 18 0 3.76 0.880 2007–08 Pittsburgh Penguins NHL 20 14 6 — — 1251 41 3 1.97 0.933 2008–09 Pittsburgh Penguins NHL 24 16 8 — — 1447 63 0 2.61 0.908 2009–10 Pittsburgh Penguins NHL 13 7 6 — — 798 37 1 2.78 0.891 2010–11 Pittsburgh Penguins NHL 7 3 4 — — 405 17 1 2.52 0.899 2011–12 Pittsburgh Penguins NHL 6 2 4 — — 337 26 0 4.63 0.834 NHL Totals 75 43 32 — — 4526 202 5 2.68 0.904 Edited May 9, 2013 by flyercanuck

There was a talk show today saying the Montreal series was a breaking point for him when they lost that. It did something to him. Losing to Tampa was a wash in most peoples' eyes as our lineup was decimated with injury and though Tampa was the lower seed, by then they were a much better team as far as what could step on the ice. AndyS
I am LOVING the fact that this series is tied at 2 games apiece. If the Isles find a way to keep game #5 close late, I think we could see another choking situation for the Pens.Man, that would be fun to watch.Nice also to see the playoff Habs back at it (i.e. choking) again too.
