Buffalo Rick
Hitchcock had better make a change at goalie if he wants to win in LA. Elliot has been bad. He lets in a stinker to seal it in OT
yave1964
Fun, well coached tough nasty series. I think the Blues will be singing the blues after game six. fun series though.
OccamsRazor
Hitchcock had better make a change at goalie if he wants to win in LA. Elliot has been bad. He lets in a stinker to seal it in OTMany teams will struggle to solve the best goaltender in the game...Quick is on his game he is hard to beat. I would put Lunqvist #2.Ediit: Hell he literally gave them game one...Carsty and Richy were shooting blanks and he has kept em in it. yave1964
Elliott down the stretch was the hottest goalie in the game, Halak however has a reputation as a big game goalie, gotta admire Hitchcock for sticking with his boy, who overall really hasn't played badly, removing him and replacing him with Halak might stink of desperation. Oh wait - he's on the bench now.
OccamsRazor
removing him and replacing him with Halak might stink of desperation.Or a stroke of genius, we'll have to wait till hindsight is available...Lavy changing out Gerber for Ward was a series/cup changing move key in helping Lavy win a Cup...just for recent examples.
