Side note if we trade for a goalie and lose Briere Homer's down

2 forwards. It looks like to get Berneir, which I don't want, we might trade Coots and/ or Read then amnesty Briere and this team is down 2 scorers which we had problems scoring as well last year, then draft a defenseman at 11 I worry about scoring next year

Briere is gone. There is no way they can keep him - and that was the case before the Streit signing.

They can't buy anyone out until 48 hours after the Cup is awarded.

Flyers were ninth in the league in Goals For Per Game last season.

Ninth.

That's more than half of the playoff teams had.

Goal scoring isn't the problem. Goal stopping is.

Goal stopping is easier when you can reliably get the puck out of your own zone. So that, you know, the goalie doesn't have to do it. Just sayin'...

I am told by reliable sources that it is the goalie's job to stop the puck. Jus' sayin' ;)

My comment was in relation to the topic which started the thread and while you're doing an admirable job trying to derail it into a Streit discussion, I'm not biting :)
