Why talk about something that didn't happen? It would just take away attention from the athletes. The security folks did their job. And people are alive because of it. You can bet the Russians will not release any of this for consumption... Yeah, I know what you mean, and I'm sure they'll inform people if it gets to a point of real danger that they can't handle. But it doesn't sound like there was ever any real danger in this case. So, if the CBC didn't mention it, kudos to them. No reason to create panic!
