Like Vlasic, nobody knew who he was for a long time. Not a huge point producers, but excellent puck mover and defensive defenseman Easily our #2 defenseman last year. The fact that we have had so few high picks and have such good players develop is terrific. If only he showed the slightest intelligence at filling holes and depth through free agency instead of just 4th line/8th defensemen plugs AND making an effort to get respectable goaltending..........we would already have a cup or two Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Great at drafting and finding the diamonds in the rough....not so great at adding free agents to fill in the roster...and both of them seem to fall short when it comes to picking goalies.
