flyercanuck
Maybe. Ghost Morin and Sanheim all have potential. Whether any of them fulfill that potential WITH the Flyers...well dont hold your breath.
Vanflyer
but I worry that we work by collecting other teams' first rounders (Carle, Voraceck, Carlo C., Mason, and others) and How could you forget BOTH Schenns??? LOL
Howie58
Wow...this is beyond red fermentation...how could I forget our version of "The Inglorious Basterds." Sorry Van; forgive him father...... Semi-seriously--we aren't stamp collectors...or car collectors. We are First Rounder Collectors. And many of them did not pan out with their home or us. . . .Voracek is a pleasant surprise. Hartnell gave us some good years. So it isn't all bad. radoran
Semi-seriously--we aren't stamp collectors...or car collectors. We are First Rounder Collectors. Fat Balloon Pat Falloon and Alex Daigle say "hello." other teams' first rounders (Carle, Voraceck, Carlo C., Mason, and others) How could you forget BOTH Schenns??? LOL And you can add MVD MDZ to that list as well. And Umburglar. And Coburn. And Pronger for that matter... There has certainly been more than a little "grass is always greener" to the Flyers' tendencies. Especially considering that (from 1999-2009) they have traded away their own first rounders: Williams, Woywitka, Pitkanen, Crater, Richards, Downie, Sbisa and the only one still playing for them is Giroux. For a team that can't seem to reliably motivate and develop it's own picks, they seem bound and determined to pick up other team's "projects."
