Seriously, I, too, read it and thought "great deal for Edmonton. Why the hell would Ottawa do it?" It doesn't make any sense to me from a Senators point of view. Holymakinaw Posted May 16, 2015 Share Posted May 16, 2015 The Sen's season was an aberration. They won't be repeating THAT one next year. Hammond came out of nowhere to steal many games for them, and a few of their rookies stepped up and had incredible years. The odds of all that happening like that again are.....low. Their main guys.......Ryan, Michalek, Anderson, MacArthur, Neil, Phillips, Methot.......were kinda terrible for what they're paid and the roles they have. These guys will be relied on in a big way, and the kids will likely fall back down to earth, as so often happens with kids, and things will return to a more "normal" level for the team, given where they are in the development.
