nossagog
Very strange move unless there is something happening that we don't know. It's a one way contract and the Pens have Fleury, Murray and Tristan Jarry. I don't understand the need for another goalie at this point. https://www.nhl.com/penguins/news/penguins-claim-goaltender-mike-condon/c-282554926

notfondajane
Could it be that the move might be an insurance one in case the Pens lose a net minder in the expansion draft?

It was to facilitate Jarry getting play time in the minors rather than sitting as backup to Fleury.
notfondajane
I would sit Fleury and have Condon start! Hey it is what it is! Lol! I guess that makes some sense to do that! What do you do with Murray when he is ready to come back from his injury? Condon "MIGHT BE" a nice fit if the Pens lose a goalie in the expansion draft!
