Game 2: Flyers @ Avalanche, 10/6, 9:00 EST

After last night's bulls hit call goalie interference is becoming the NHL's version of the catch rule in the NFL...

...terrible when they have HD and still can't get it right.

Flyers just didn't play as well as the first night.

It happens I guess.

1-1-0 on a tough two game road trip. I'll take it.

A few observations...

- Elliot again played excellent. He's the reason the team stayed within striking distance until the end.

- Wow, I can't get over how calm Vorobyev is with the puck. I think he made one or two rookie mistakes on clears, but overall solid game for him.

-The Patrick line is our most ineffective forward line. I hope they can find chemistry soon.

- I wonder if Hak regrets his decision to go with Folin. He had a rough game.

- Provorov thinks the offensive game a bit too linearly. I hope he develops the same confidence on offense he has on defense. Just a matter of time I'd say.

- Sanheim had a really strong game at both ends of the ice. Great to see!

- Overall, I'd say the Avs drove the net while the Flyers played more of a perimeter game. They really exploited our defense.

- I hope they are gritty in their home opener!

Sure...didn't help on the first goal Mcturd laying on the ice instead of getting up and left Folin alone to battle two forwards at the top of the crease alone.

At least Folin is new to the team playing his first game.

What Mcturd's excuse this time what are going with?
