Now it feels like Boston is giving a speed demonstration.

Well, maybe, but seems more like Wild defenders aren't accounting for the more dangerous players on the ice....leaving Marchand with no one on him to field a rebound is an absolute non starter.

That’s because you have to be physical with Marchand and the best the Wild can muster is pattycakes...

I'm not just talking about skating speed......they're much more decided and quick about their shots and passes. There's no messing around.

That's one of my biggest complaints with koivu and Suter, everything is slow.

Yes...this is true.
Marchand will need to be hit hard and often.
He will not like it, and maybe resort to his go-to moves...cheap shots, chirping, licking..... but it at least gets him off his game.

Wow...not so sure that was a hold on Nino (looked more like he was just muscled down)….and Nino EVEN looked like he might have just "gone along with it"...

Either way, Wild may have gotten away with one...now they need to make it count with a PP goal.   6 SOG so far isn't cutting it.

The Wild need to stop drafting all these polite Scandihoovians and start drafting some tough ass Canadians...
