I thought we would run away with the points in the second period. I guess they did too. I hope they have some will to fight for it in the third. Otherwise with some bad bounces we might lose the points here, even though the win is ours to grab.

The Wild makes these games way harder than they need to be.

I might buy tickets to the game when (should be if) they retire Koivu's #9.  If you are watching look for the 50 year old providing a REALLY inappropriate and throaty BOOOOOOOOOOO for an extended period of time.  That will be me.....

AND....I may pay for the public address announcer to BOOOOOOOO over the speaker when Suits and the Man Baby retire (if, God Forbid, they consider retiring their jerseys).  It may cost a pretty large sum of money, but it would be WORTH IT.  I might also pay for a formal picket of Kwik Trip too, until the fake team-player, Suits, is removed from those horribly disingenuous commercials - WTF is he kidding!?!?  At $8MM/Year, he AIN"T buying his family groceries at Kwik Trip

Anyone see the Silver Lining for the Buffalo Sabers?!?  What a f*&^ing dumpster fire that team is.  They may have more talent than us (see Eichel, Reihart, Hall, Dahlin, and Routs), but they absolutely lick a$$.  Casey M. is looking like a bust too....Feel bad for the kid, but needs a change of scenery and a fire lit under his caboose.

I don't know how you're going to survive the next 4 seasons 😆

Trust me, there is a very vocal contingent of fans in their 20's who grew up with Koivu that think he's everything the #mnwild has ever said about him (consummate leader on and off the ice, blah blah) and they'll start a pretty massive campaign to retire his #9 to the rafters.  And you know this organization can't resist a cheesy moment like that would be.

9 11 20 - hanging up there. Time to start thinking ways of how to burn jerseys hanging from the ceiling of the arena. Perhaps a drone and some kind of igniter...

EmptyShelf would somehow smuggle in a Flame-Thrower. 😆

I could send in Tanya Harding's husband with a lead pipe for a few hundred (so he can buy himself and that gutter dweller some smack and give Koivu one)

The sad thing is that you are 10000% correct.  The old MN-Nice, homer, teary-eyed; 'he became one of us' crap.  Why can't we act more like NY fans:  "WTF did that effeminate face-off specialist every contribute to a winning series in the playoffs?!?'

Another game with a putrid disparity in SOG....We aren't going to be able to keep getting away with not putting the puck on the net if we want to win

Pass first mentality is high in this one.
