Wild got about as good a chance as they were gonna get to score just a bit ago. One of their players left unmolested in the hashmark area....didn't get anything. An omen for how this ends? Might be.

I realize the Wild aren't gonna win'em all, but man, after playing so well the last couple weeks, you hate to see the wheels just fall off like they have tonight. Undisciplined, coverage is spotty, Fleury looking like Stalock, and a parade of guys to the penalty box.

Wasn't sure if a win would have done it tonight, but Bally Sports just said a win WOULD clinch a playoff spot for Minnesota, so even more for them to play for here! And since Vegas holds the top points record in the West, that puts the Wild in contention for not only their division, but home ice in the West playoffs.

Just got done watching the Lightning punch their ticket to the post season, now gonna settle in and looking for Minnesota to add to their Central Division lead and do well against a team that many are saying could end up in the West Finals! Go Wild!
