One more "D" man is not going to make this team a cup contenders! Homer gave away the farm acquiring Pronger.Was it worth it? I'd like to see more Phantoms brought up,like the other big guy "Ollie",big bodies help! The Bruins game should have everybody asking for more of that kind of play,nothing too violent,just lots of physical contact.

Remember JVRs first an only shoot-out since he had been a Flyer? Now would be a good time for Lavi and his pal Kevin to seek employment elsewhere. Let Berube take a crack at it,couldn't be any worse. At least he wouldn't alienate half of the team!

It appears Homer has decided to forego "Creampuff Hockey" for the Bruins game. This is more like it.

"Little Danny" get pounded every game. He gets no help from the Guys or the refs,when he retaliates himself he gets a penalty. Homer's main claim to fame was enforcer,he typically played a regular shift and was available to people like Briere. Somewhere between the Keith Allen and Freddie Shero era to now "The Broad st.Bully" theme seems to have faded into oblivion.The Flyers are viewed as chumps,yesterday game was a great example.Intimidation sells tickets,wins games,gains respect! This is not Europe!

Why do NHL players not want to protect their eyes,ears,nose,mouth,and brain? Imagine if the NFL guys played unprotected. Shanahan's not elimating cheap shots,why not penalize the injurer with suspension as long as the injured player is out? In addition the NHL needs get together with some of the equipment manfactures to get this concussion epidemic eliminated!.

Barring an injury what might be another reason he is not scoring? It seems to be spreading to other members of the team as we speak!

Could clinical depression hit the whole team at once? Lack of vitamin"D"? How about Crappy coach?

The Flyers are regressing,Bobbo gets hung out to dry,Giroux is becoming the new enforcer,nobody on the Flyers doing anything remotely physical,and Lavi out coached to the point of embarrasment. Its looking like the guys are tired of Lavi's BS and his inept system. The Flyer's game fails at the most fundamental level,nothing works,the players take the heat. I watched a little of the Rangers/Pens game and noticed how hard the Pens worked,played physical,made the best of what they had,and beat the Rangers. It was nice to see hockey played high speed and upscale,something missing with the Flyer's game.

LeClair was a little bigger and had help from a guy named Lindros. Like Dorny,LeClair scored a lot of goals by refusing to leave the crease,still works,but today nobody is willing to take the beating. I bet Shelley would be a good occupy rep. That apparently isn't in "The Lavster's" game plan!

Homer needs to STOP giving away first round draft picks! Cooter is a great example,it pays to be a little patient,Cooter will be around a long time,definitely more than two years!

Did Voracek go back to college for two years after being drafted??

Its becoming painfully obvious when Jagr isn't 100% the Flyer's scoring suffers. Cooter is doing all he can to help,Simmonds gives 110%, Schenn(?),Briere(?),Worker Ants(A+) Goalies(???????) Defense(?????????????????) Lavi(Ah-F**k-it). Hopefully Jagr can stay healthy and keep the cup hopes alive?

Lets hope it doesn't run in the family.

The bruins did the bully thing last year and look how that turned out. Now the rangers are doing it!

Bigger players,physical style,decent goalie= less injuries works for the Bruins and the Rangers. Both teams should go deep in the playoffs.

Would bringing a few more of the Phantoms up hurt? It couldn't be worse than starting Bryzo.Just imagine, Lauridsen on defense, fowards would be Shelley,Sistito,and Klotz. Bob Kelly would love it,just like the old days,ticket sales would sky rocket. Bring the Bullies back to Broad st! Thats the number one missing ingredient on this team!! Guarantee these guys would cut down on cheap shots from other teams,not forgetting concussions.

This guy looks like a great selection,proving it pay to build via the draft. Now if Homer would quit giving away draft picks.

Not to beat this thing to death,but the fowards could help,the defense more,maybe Lavi could mention that to the guys.

I hope Lavi and the guys watched the game last night.No doubt they picked up a few pointers on how to beat Rangers. It would be nice to get a win against them this season.
