If Ryan is that hot a commodity why is he available? Of all the teams that would be interested,Toronto seem like a likely landing spot for any DUCK. Right Burkie? Ryan Getzlaf to me,would be the most useful to the Flyers. Everybody on the Ducks is a little snake bitten(Richards&Carter) so trades would be a little iffy. Maybe the Flyers could trade the "The Lavster" for "Stinky".

Yesterday's game was some what of a beat down,encouraged by a lack of response by the Flyers.The guys could use a couple of those big Phantoms to help with the physical chores.

Finally Lavi let "Em Play".

Are these options available to the Flyers ? The Flyers don't have one player that goes to the net and stays there.John LeClair got fifty goals a season this way,he just parked his butt in the crease and stayed there,pretty simple. Jagr used to score a ton of goals in close,not the way Lavi uses him. Complaints aplenty about JVR's lack of a hands on,but this whole team plays the same way.The only player with the physical skills is Shelley,Lavi should,let him go to the net and see who clears him out. Like LeClair maybe Shelley could put some scraps in the net,couldn't hurt to try. The Flyers courtesy of Lavi are regressing at a rapid rate,they can't beat teams that play physical,even Winnipeg. Seem like Lavi has separated "The broad st. bullies" from the Flyers!

How did this post become about JVR? But while we are slamming players for less that a stellar performance,how about Voracek ,Hartnell,Briere,Bryzo,Bobbo?! Who is in goal against the Hawks? Colton Orr is going on waivers,any takers? I am proud of Schenn scoring his first NHL goal.

Couldn't do any worse,may even do a little better.

The first man takes the man,the second man takes the puck. Mezzo didn't do either!

Lundquist saw every shot,Flyers don't like to screen the goalie,Sestito during his short stay camped in the Ranger's goal.On the Ranger's first goal,Mezzo froze,providing a great screen for the prolific goal scorer Rupp. The Flyers fail on a very fundamental level. Don't blame Bobbo,try to imagine if Bryzo was in net.Lavi could have chosen Briere or Giroux for the penalty shot????

Rupp=two goals! What a complete joke. The Flyers get pushed around again,by any team that that wants to push "em" around. For balls these guys get an "F". Sestito was a step in the right direction, but Lavi knows all.

A good time was had by all!!!!!!!!!!

If Bryzo doesn't start everybody from Ed Snider down is going to look like complete "Bozos" for ever singing an unproven,ultra hyped goalie!

The Flyers need to step up their physical game. Bigger bodies help! Sending Sestito down was a step in the wrong direction.The Caps engaged the Ranger physically and it paid off. The Flyers look like the NHL version of "The Little People" with a stinky goalie.

Goalie stops the ones he should,high speed play,lots of body contact,screen the goalie,and play for sixty minutes. Great game.

I saw # 10 during warm-ups,but not much during the game.Did he play the whole game?

There is still Leighton who is better than Bryzo(this guy get worse every game).Homer needs to put Bryzo on LTIR and keep him there! NEXT!!!!!!!

Has faded into the sunset! Say what you want about Bryzo,but you won't win many games scoring only one goal.With the exception of Wayne Simmonds,these guys are back to figure skating.Lavi has really limited the only fun line(4th) to kitchen help. Sestito would have been a real help in this game,Garon saw every shot.

Its starting to look like Bryzo needs a long rest!

Speaking of Homer,has he had any more bike accidents?

It looks like Bryzo is in line for a complete mental/psychological work-up to try and determine just "what the hell is going on" in that shrinking brain of his. Homer needs to the exactly same work-up for singing him.

Until it becomes life threatening,Homer wants the boys to play,Pronger is a prime example.
