  1. Ryan Hartman was named NHL 3rd Star of the week. https://www.nhl.com/wild/news/hartman-named-nhl-third-star-of-week-103023
  2. What is a status for Boldy? When he supposed to start playing? Just looked at our standing table. We placed the most goals so far in our Division (32), but the opposite teams placed in our net the most goals too (38) which is a lot in only 9 played games this season. Interesting, Maroon in 9 played games has 7 points (1 goal; 6 assists; +/- +1); Addison has 4 assists; Brodin has 1 goal and 3 assists; Faber has 1 goal and 2 assists; Mermis has 2 goals and 2 assists in 7 played games; and Hartman has 9 points (6 goals and 3 assists) in 9 played games. But who has the most points? EEK 10 points (5 goals; 5 assists) so far.
  3. With all this inconsistent play (in production; in defense; in goaltending) and maybe it is too early, but I am already concerned if we will make playoffs this season. Plus also , it seems we are still going to do a time change this coming weekend which is always affecting our normal biological clock and does not bring any benefits at all to our body. It takes a while for our body to adapt to the new time 2 times a year, especially with aging. And of course, in my opinion and of my 46 years of medical experience, it is affecting the play of our players too. At 4 p.m. during the fall and winter we have darkness already in our state when moving back 1 hour, which is depressing part for most people, including fans and players. Minnesota passed already legislation on a permanent daylight saving time together with some other states (which means we should keep daylight saving time permanently/forever), but still nothing is happening. Strange slow movements so far in that direction. The most smartest states are Arizona and Hawaii which never changed the time in their history. In my opinion, the ideally for our Minnesota state would be to move time even 1 hour forward now and to keep it permanently. This way we will have darkness in about 6 p.m. instead of 4 p.m. especially during the winter time. Here is a latest update regarding our daylight savings: https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-senate-approves-bill-that-would-make-daylight-savings-time-permanent-2023-2022-03-15/
  4. Disappointing loss. We got only 1 point out of 3 road games. Sad and not acceptable for our team. Next game should be a revenge on our home ice. And I am so sorry for the mistake in a title thread. I just found out after reading entire thread. It should be Sunday, but not Saturday. Maybe TFG will help us again in correction that?
  5. We should try to win this game on a road. So far 1 point out of 2 road games. We need lots of points.
  6. No, I am not mad at all . I was talking just about the last game options to chose in SO. Freddie is injured, and of course, he has talent in SO. I agree, probably, he deserves to be in slot 2 after Kaprizov when healthy. Let's put 1st pressure on Kaprizov (who is AC), and then to Freddie; Zuccarello; Boldy; Rossi (who gradually is making the progress in NHL); Johanssen; EEK. No questions, last game we played better than the previous game. Total 4 games in 1 week not an easy to play task, but we do not have ability to chose. NHL schedule is NHL schedule. And let's put Fleury for the next game too. Why not? How many games he suppose to win to past Roy?
  7. Or maybe Foligno? For that game SO I would put first Johanssen, Rossi, EEK, Zuccarello , Kaprizov, Our former goalie Kuemper played very motivated to win this game against us, who was named #1 star of the game, #2 star was Fleury.
  8. Win or not to win this game? That is the question for our team now. Capitals also struggles with consistent winning play like our team. Probably, our former goalie Darcy Kuemper will play motivated against us as well as Ovechkin who often placed hat tricks in our net previous seasons. Surprisingly, he is struggling too with his production this season. From our part, it seems we added another player (Gaudreau) to our injured list.
  9. One our employee today told me that Flyers team actually has total 4 Minnesotans in their team: Brink, Seeler, Cates and Poehling.
  10. It seems I didn't miss a lot. Since Wednesday 5 p.m. we have Century link outage for internet, and still, I do not nave it. 3rd day already, which I never had before. This message I am writing from my work. I expected that we are going to lose this game. Flyers are on the top of their Division with 9 points and is a 2nd team after Rangers so far. But I just looked for stats of the last game and found out that 2 Minnesotans from the Flyers team had 3 points during the game last night. Bobby Brink placed 2 goals in our net and Nick Seeler had an assist. Tomorrow Fleury, probably, will stay in our net against Capitals.
  11. This week we will play road games: on Thursday against Flyers; on Friday against Capitals; on Sunday against Devils. Hope, we will get at least 4 points out of 3 games. Then we will have kind of a break till November 2 when we will play again against Devils but on our home ice.
  12. I wish to have this not weird Wild with such a high tempo and score entire season.
  13. I found out already. Total 10 points ((Hartman 5 (3 goals;2 assists); Kaprizov 3 assists; Zuccarello 2 (1 goal; 1 assist)).
  14. We better win this game. Busy week. We have 4 games and next 3 of them are on a road.
  15. McDavid will not play against us tomorrow, because he is out 1-2 weeks with upper-body injury: https://www.nhl.com/news/connor-mcdavid-injury-status-update-edmonton-oilers
  16. I just read Star Tribune and found out from it that Vinni Lettieri is a grandson of our former Minnesota North Star player Lou Nanne.
  17. Interesting, he is Minnesotan too. I just looked for his stats. He has more experience in NHL than Walker and played already 83 games (placed 7 goals)for different teams in NHL, but he has not best stats so far in +/- -31. Maybe he will play better for the Wild?
  18. That was exactly my message to keep in their mirrors. But we lost again. Not acceptable for us. Not sure if we will be able to win next game on Tuesday against Oilers, which is capable to score a lot. I was not able to watch the game tonight (came home about an hour ago from our 110th St.Mary's Romanian Orthodox Church Anniversary celebration), but from my understanding Gustavsson was busy tonight by stopping 51 shots out of 56 during regulation and OT. They outshoot us almost 2 times more, which means we made not enough efforts to win this game. But at least we have got 1 point.
  19. A must win game for us. Enough from sloppy start. Avalanche already has 4 wins out of 4 games. And Vegas has 5 wins out of 5 games. We need to follow after these teams results. They are an example, how to fight for each game wins.
