    Sunday Trade Rumors

With the NHL All-Star weekend happening the NHL GM’s are having a little bit of down time to plan out there next big move. But now the GM’s only have a little over a month until that bug busy day. Today I have read and talked to a few people and gathered up a bunch of trade rumors. The Ottawa Sun has reported that Senators Erik Karlsson’s agent will be talking with Senators GM on possible trades. Ottawa Sun didn’t report much more but I don’t really think that the Sens will give up a key guy on their roster. Only time will tell… Ottawa Sun has reported not expect New Jersey Devils Zach Parise to be traded by the deadline. He will UFA on July 1st. The Los Angeles Kings do have interest in him and so do the Minnesota Wild expect that they will make a move July 1st. The Ottawa Sun reports that the Tampa Bay Lighting Dominic Moore is getting a lot of interest and one team with the most interest is the Ottawa Senators. The Edmonton Journal says that the Blackhawks could have interest in Hurricanes Tim Gleason, as would half a dozen other teams. Also lastly Matheson thinks that Brenden Morrow could be a good fit with the Sharks, Canucks or Red Wings.

    NHL Trade Rumors

Hey guys, I know I have not been posting in a while but I was giving a writing job on the5hole.com. I will write for this site and the5hole. But since we are getting closer to the trade deadline I thought i'd post on what I am hearing. Right now I am getting some info from one of my source's and he is telling me that Nashville's Ryan Suter will not re-sign by the deadline. So the Predators management will have to decide if they’ll retain him in hopes of re-signing him prior to July 1st, or trade him at the deadline. Also the Canucks and Red Wings could have interest in Canadiens winger Travis Moen. Canadiens might have interest in Buffalo’s Derek Roy. And I haven't got full notice but I am hearing that Corey Perry to Vancouver. (More Details To Follow)
  6. Came across a rumor of it, forget the site I was on. But I didint think it was a legit one. But I just threw it in the post.
  7. Just a few hours after Ducks GM Bob Murray said that almost everyone on his roster is tradeable, Ryan and Getzlaf said they want to stay with the Ducks . On Wednesday Murray told the L.A. Times the only untouchables are Koivu and Selanne both of whom have no-movement clauses. Rigth away after Murray announced that it immediately started a lot of internet rumors saying that Ryan to TOR,DET,BUF or CHI? and Getzlaf to PHI,TOR,BOS,CHI and DET. It has been confirmed that Murray is not taking offers for Ryan, Perry and Getzlaf and d-man Cam Fowler. But he did say he is taking calls to be entertained but will not pitch the four players to other teams. Goaltender Jonas Hiller could be on the trading block and d-man Lubomir Visnovsky, Francios Beauchemin and Toni Lydman ARE expected to be traded by Feb. 27 trade deadline. thanks for reading twitter @DLHockey
  8. Pardon me Leafs are 8th in the eastern conference
  9. RED WINGS (25-13-1) and MAPLE LEAFS (20-15-5) With the Wings road struggles Leafs hope to take yet another win this year. Leafs haven't lost a game in 2012 with being 6th in the league still in a playoff spot. Detroit hopes to win to end there road battles tonight. I think Leafs will win 4-3 LAST 10: Detroit 6-4-0; Toronto 4-4-2. This original 6 battle is set to start at 7:00 pm On CBC, NHLN-US (HD), FS-Detroit (HD) I'll have a full game re-cap tonight. 10. Leafs GM Dealing? With the Trade Deadline just around the corner Leafs GM Brain Burke has been very quiet. Burke has less than two months to deal a blockbuster trade. A lot of rumors are indacating that the Ducks and Leafs will have a trade in sight by the deadline. On Thursday the media had asked Burke if he had any good trades in the line. He said he would have to kill us, if he had said anything and of course he was joking. The media had asked him about Anaheim he chuckled and said where pretty tight. So right off the bat we now do know that Burke has been working with Anaheim for a deal. Jagr To Return Soon. Jagr's sore groin has left him out of playing since monday when he had sufferd a pulled groin in the Winter Classic. Jagr had missed the game Thursday againts the Blackhawks, But he was on the ice skating with some of his teamates than he came back a few minutes later excited to tell his fellow teamates that he had felt no pain on his leg. So maybe we should see him back on the ice within the next 1-2 games. Thanks for reading Twitter @DLHockey

  13. Ducks Ready To Shop. Anaheim Ducks General Manager Bob Murray is very interested in reshaping the franchise, and just about every player on the roster is available for trade. The Los Angeles Times where first to report the news of what Murray wants to do on Wednesday night. Murray has said the only players on his team that are untouchable are Teemu Selanne and Saku Koivu witch both players have no-movment clause. It's been reported that forwards Bobby Ryan and Ryan Getzlaf, Defensemen Lumbomir Visnovsky and Francois Beauchemin and Goaltender Jonas Hiller have already been trade bait. Now it is hard to come by if the Ducks move Perrry or Getzlaf. Murray said it comes down to if the players can show that they want to be apart of the team, if not they will be shiped off before the trade deadline. Now there are several teams including the Maple Leafs, Rangers, Canadiens, Hurricanes and the Sabers have reportedly inquired about Bobby Ryan. Than down south the Tampa Bay Lightning have showen a lot of intrest in Visnovsky and Hiller. Thanks for reading please follow me on twitter @DLHockey. Detroit Red Wings Trade Rumors. Ok so this will be my 6th post and I love this site, it has great fans and bloggers. I was at My Hockey Buzz for a few monthas but my posts where not being posted so I left. I was in search for a new site to blog. So some how I dont know how but I found this site and I don't regert signing up. Not only does it have good people who don't bash what I write it's add free witch is great. But i've been on a lot of facebook pages and posted news and rumors but always got bashed for what I write and I hate it. I've made 5 posts with all great feedback, I coudln't belive that there was no hate... Well thats good ahah. Ok but any who thanks for reading my blogs will post 4-6 a day. Ok now back to hockey rumors ! It will now be the 20th season in a row that the Red Wings will be contending for lord Stanley because they have a elite roster and a veteran goaltender. According to the Detroit News GM Ken Holland could be looking to aquire more depth. Rumors have been going around that the Hurricanes center Tuomo Ruutu could become a Red Wings since he is in his final year of his contract thats worth $3.5 million. And also rumors going around that Holland could be shoping for Hurricanes d-man Bryan Allen. And also Oilers right wing Ales Hemesky has been mentioned. The Wings will also invest in getting a backup goaltender for Jimmy Howard and the Islanders have been looked at and the Wings will want Evgeni Nabokov. Maple Leafs Colby Armstrong Is Showing Improvements. Maple Leafs Armstrong is on the road to recovering from a concussioin. Maple Leafs winger had suffered a concussion on December 17 againts the Canucks, But did not tell anyone. Than he was unable to play with the Leafs the next game againts the LA Kings on Dec. 19. Armstrong is now on the ice practicing at full tilt, but if he's practicing like this he might be back within a few games. Colby Armstrong played 9 games scoring no goals getting one assist and having a +/- -4. Not a good record at all. But expect some more news in a few days.
  14. Thank you guys for your comments, I've only wrote 4 entry's and I have no hate mail. If I where back over at hockeybuzz I'd be bashed for my writing. Thanks for being friendly. I'll have 5-6 more entry's up today
  15. Tyler Myers To Return By Friday? The Buffalo Sabers D-man Tyler Myers has been out since suffering a broken wrist Nov. 19, he said today he is fully healed and is hopeful of returning Friday when the Sabres visit Carolina. Today at the First Niagara Center Myers said to the press that he hopes he is ready to go by friday. He also said that he has no physcial pain on his writst when he does a fast moving motion (like taking a slap shot) but he would like to take it easy when playing his first few weeks back. Blue Jacket Trade Rumors Heat Up Jackets GM Scott Howson has mentioned that he is going to make his last-placed club and make it a top 10 team. He has also mentioned that his team will be shaken up in the up comming weeks leading to the Febuary, 27 trade dealine. Now the Columbus Dispatch has mentioned that the Blue Jackets' players are feeling some sort of effects that moves are comming up and they are worried who might be the next out. Some big names that have been mentioned to be traded are Rick Nash and Jeff Carter. Rumors around the web are indicating that Jeff Carter to the Toronto Maple Leafs but there is no response on who the Leafs will give back. Don't expect Center man Derick Brassard to be shiped off, he has been a target of many trade talks all season long but he has been pretty calm right now for the past few weeks and seems he has found his spot on the 4th line. I'm thinking that the Leafs and Jackets will have a trade in deal but on the Leafs end it has been quiet. GM Brian Burke has not said anything about a trade with the Jackets but yet again Burke is very unpredictable Shea Weber Back On The Ice The Nashville Predators start defenseman Shea Weber practiced without contact on Tuesday for the first time since suffering the injury on December 23 2011 againts the Dallas Stars, Says ESPN. The 26 year-old had skated with his teammates in a public practice in Franklin, but Nashville coach Barry Trotz maintains that there is still not a realistic time line for when the Predators Captian will return. Weber had played 35 games this season scoring 8 goals and racking up 21 assists for a total of 29 points. The Preds will start talking contract neogations with Weber in the up coming weeks as he is secheduled to become a RFA in July. Nashville's GM David Poile has mentioned more thn once that he realy wants to sign Weber to a long-term extension and his value will increase significantly. Detroit To Host The 2013 Winter Classic It has yet not been confirmed but it will be within the next few days to the next week. But the Detroit Red Wings will be hosting the 2013 Winter Classic, and the Toronto Maple Leafs will be visiting and or the Avalanche and maybe even the Sharks. Since the Rangers and Flyers Winter Classic had such low ratings the NHL wants to mix it up and put some "Random'' teams in. But the Leafs and Wings have a fun history together so if they where to play it be very good. And another rumor is that the Blues might have a part in that Winter Classic also, since the Blues been having a lot of issues having them play in the Winter Classic would be great for there franchise. There will also be a HBO 24/7 Road To The Winter Classic special.
